Lawyers are sociopaths in $3000 suits who believe that they are above the law.

Evil shysters like Kyles use the law to enrich themselves while spitting on ethics and justice. The victims' families will never seen a penny from this mass murderer, who will hide his millions.

I was just thinking the same thing when I first seen this on TV. Then I hear J. Jackson has a connection to this nightclub. This ought to be REAL interesting.

The cops in nearly all jurisdictions, are afraid to enforce the law. They are afraid of being called a racist. Most of all, afraid of being overwhelmed in a riot situation, with not enough firepower to stop a lynching, of themselves. They know that to confront a crowd that gathers at a place such as this, they must be willing to use deadly force. Of course the higher ups, won't back them up.

There is so much criminal liability in this case, by the time the indictments are filed, this aspect of the situation is going to take a back seat.

No way Jesse is going to win in this. This is going to be very, very bad for him.

You can't have 21 dead and no criminal indictments. Sure, the city didn't enforce the closure, but the hands who bolted and chained the doors are the ones that will get cuffed.

So like the title to the article says, the club incident "reopened old racial wounds in Chicago." How curious - the ethnicity of all involved was the same, and somehow this is a RACIAL issue???

On WLS AM Chicago a lot of blacks were calling in Roe and Gary saying that there would have been more attention if it was a "white" club. They basically blamed everyone except the people at fault and then screamed racism on top of it. It is absolutely disgusting. The club was a hang out for gang bangers and thugs this is a known fact. I would never step foot in there infact I would never even go by that area because it is dangerous. All the problems we have seen over the last year in Chicago are primarily on the South Side, remember the mob beatings of the two men.

The only defense that we get for their outrageous action is that "we are held down by a white racist society". And the Jesse Jacksons of this city permit these bums to continue to act like animals. I'm not going to mince words here this was a 100% black club. There is no excuse for anyone to bring in racism. The security guards who sprayed the mace were black, the people who were fighting were black and the people who were killed were black. This doesn't involve mean white people killing innocent blacks. This is just an attempt for Jesse Jackson to start a race war in the city.

And another thing. You can bet your bottom dollar that Mayor Daley was afraid to close the club because he is up for reelection next Tuesday. He didn't want to get anyone mad at him prior to an election.

The club has also been a rallying point for black activists such as Mr Jackson, who is close friends with one of its owners, Dwain Kyles. The city did not have dare enforce the closure order for fear of political and social consequences.

And what is that "fear" about??

A war of words yesterday between the city's civic leaders and the African-American community.

Aren't they the same people??

I get the feeling the blame will fall on lower rank public employees and some immediate level fire and police officers. And the city will pour our millions.

This is hilarious. If they shut down the club its racism, if they dont shut down the club its racism. What a hypocritical sick culture, you can't enforce the rules because you're racist, then if you don't enforce them you're racist. Its kinda of a parallel to the policing issue, if you arrest black criminals, you're racist, if you don't arrest them and let them victimize their fellow blacks, you get accused of ignoring the black community.

I don't know how to say this, but I never want to be around a black person because of this crap. It has nothing to do with race, its the culture of blame and hatred that blacks are indoctrinated with. No matter what you do you will be blamed and attacked, what sane person wants to put themselves in a position to be a punching bag?

Too bad 21 people had to pay the price of unintended consequences because the city might not have dared to enforce the closure order...

It's a terrible shame that so many people had to die as a direct result of a couple of women squabbling like little kids. Ladies didn't used to behave like this, and this particular behavior is not unique to the race of the people involved.

I saw the statement from Jackson about this on Special Report with Brit Hume tonight. Jackson actually said that it wasn't the fault of the people in the club, or the owners of the club. It was the city's fault for not enforcing the court order which was violated by the owner. It doesn't matter what the facts are, you just can't win with Je$$e Jackass and people of his ilk. It's always someone else's fault. I know, it's the Oakland Raiders' fault!!!

I'm tempted to say that this is going to be interesting, but I'm sure we won't hear much about it in the mainstream press.

I wonder if there were tax revenues for the place. And if they were collected, how much? Additionally, if the city is guilty of failing to enforce it's own rulings, I wonder how many other illegal establishments will now be shut down.

Those people must have been void of even an iota of chivalry - a glimmer of what hell must be like - crushed in a stampede of human debris. And now I hear that the city will "honor" the fallen as if the victims had died in selfless sacrifice. I guess we'll have to some J. Jackson lingo and call it: the Epitome of Stupidity.
