AP blew that out of proportion. Sec. Rumsfeld was in a committee hearing today and Kennedy tried to put him on the spot by asking about our potential use of nukes. I don't think there's been any change in doctrine: They use WMD's on us, we use 'em on them. There might be a slight change in that we'll use nuclear bunker busters in order to decontaminate bio/chem storage and production areas if there's no alternative to clean up the site before contamination spreads.

This is a farce. These people have chosen to occupy infrastructure (bridges and power plants) that CentCom has already indicated will not be targeted this time. If these yokels truely want to be martyrs for Saddam, they should occupy telecommunications facilities, radio stations, tops of hardened bunkers, armoured assembly areas, anti-aircraft artillery and missile sites.
