No, not really. If I recall correctly, they endorsed Bush in 1992, Dole in 96, and Bush in 2000. It's odd - they have a smattering of leftist articles, then a smattering of conservative ones, and then endorsement time, they generally make the right choice.

Fair enuff...as I look back at the article, I now recognize that this did not come from the Economist's Editorial page, so I take back my slur against the paper in general. This particular correspondent, though, is a Leftist DOLT in the Molly Ivins mold, IMHO...MUD
BTW...we oughtta FReep this chick with a ton of emails from individual FReepers who either were at CPAC or wish they could have been.
