The downside of boldness, he and other analysts added, is overreaching and giving your political enemies too many juicy targets. President Bush will continue to confound these idiots. He will NEVER overreach, he will just stay the course of his convictions.
¡Viva Bush/Cheney!

I agree that the Dems rhetoric is wearing thin with the American people. So I, too, hope they keep ranting.
As to how much more little Tommy-do-nothing could do or say? He could spit and drool....lol....while telling 'us' the REAL truth (not) about our President and his policies. He can rant LOUDER AND LOUDER! He could get SO apoplectic that he forgets....and stands on his tippy toes while he screams at the cameras. He can raise his blood pressure to dangerous levels....pop a few corpuscles, and have to resign for health reasons. Bill O'Reilly could relentlessly target "The Daschles" re: their finances.
I can go on and on with my fantasies....lol.

No. What Bush is doing now reflects his own core values. He is a man of principle and strong convictions who believes in lower taxes and judges who will interpret the constitution as it is, and not make it up as they go along.
Exactly !
Nice pic, Meek :o)
Thanks. That was at the Inaugural Ball 2001...

That was at the Inaugural Ball 2001... Yeah, I know! I have about 8 of them in my files, and I love them all!
A magical moment in time, when the fresh air rushed in to the White House, and our nation's restoration and renewal began!

Statement On AMA Endorsement Of Partial Birth Abortion Ban
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- As the only physician in the Senate, I am proud of the American Medical Associations decision to support the ban on partial birth abortions. This is the strongest medical confirmation yet that this so-called medical procedure is brutal, inhumane, and medically unnecessary. As I said on the floor of the United States Senate, any provider who performs a partial birth abortion has violated the Hippocratic principle, First do no harm.
The President (CLINTON) has already been standing on shaky ground in his efforts to explain his intent to veto once again a ban of this grisly and unnecessary procedure. With these technical changes and the endorsement of the AMA, its time for the President to do the right thing -- its time for him to sign this bill.

SNOW: Will the Senate pass a ban on partial-birth abortion?
SANTORUM: Absolutely. That's one of the things that we could not get scheduled under Senator Daschle last session of Congress. It will be scheduled relatively promptly this session of Congress, as well as other important things that didn't see the light of day, like cloning.
Fox News
Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott said he will promise a partial birth abortion ban.
During an interview with American Family Radio Wednesday, Lott said, "I will call it up, we will pass it, and the president will sign it. I'm making that commitment - you can write it down."

...Now the shoe is on the other foot, and their left-wing bias is clear for all to see. Yep. So glad the kringtone days a long gone. Now if they'd just stop whining about Bush not getting the popular vote. Funny thing is, Bush got more votes in 2000 than clintoon did in 1992. Yet clintoon was labeled such a popular president, and Bush is credited by Liberals and the Liberal media as stealing an election. Bush won Florida. It was algore's to steal...

Let see ... they UNFAIRLY make the extraordinary move of denying perfectly qualified Judges like Pickering and Owens, simply because these judges are not Liberal enough. ... THEN THEY LOSE ELECTION AFTER ELECTION (GA, TX, NC, MO) ON THIS ISSUE ...
And now they act surprised like they should still expect to win on policy after losing an election.
I wonder if Leahy is just dumb as a post or they are so used to winning fights they dont know what conservative
action is about.
As for Bush and GOP: I expect them to do the "right" thing; it's why I supported them!!

The LIE in the "overreach" viewpoint is that it implies that the voters didnt want to give Bush authority to do certain things even though they voted GOP. In fact, the opposite is true. WE WANT BUSH TO DO EVEN MORE THAN HE PLANS.
This is more Liberal wishful thinking, trying to stop the Conservative tide.
