I hope Disney loses. It sounds to me like they were hiding something when they threw away those boxes.

WWDD.
What Would Disney Do if I were making money off of Mickey Mouse? That's right. They'd sue me. They need to pay for Pooh!

"The critical allegations and accusations that are now being made against him were not made at the time that he was alive. They knew he was ill. After he dies, they amend their complaint, and they allege fraud against him." Similar to the plot of last year's Ben Affleck movie "Changing Lanes," in which the bad guys lose.

Everyone mentioned above who is involved in this greed orgy are losers (including the trial lawyers) except for the cerebral palsy victim in the nursing home who is obviously out of it and being used.
A pooh on all their houses.

Pooh videos, teddy bears, and other merchandise generate $1 billion in annual revenues for Disney--the same amount as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto combined. I find this the most important statement in the entire article. I had no idea that Disney actually makes more money on (licensed) Pooh goods than it does on goods based on Walt's own original creations.
50% of Disney's lifeblood comes from Winnie the Pooh, and not Mickey Mouse?

Don't worry; those boxes will show up in some obscure room or a car trunk about two years from now, just like Eisner's friends, Komrade Klintoon and her hubby.

Shirley and her daughter have attempted to stretch the terms of a yellowing contract to bag royalties on all sorts of things, even home videos, which were beyond anybody's imagination in 1930. Much as Disney and others have bought legislation to stretch the terms of copyright far beyond the imagination of the Founders of this republic.
I hear the sound of chickens coming home to roost.

It would be nice if Milne's heirs could get a piece of the money. But failing that, nothing could please me more than to see Michael Eisner lose another big one. Few people deserve it more.
To be frank, I grew up on the Milne books with the Shepherd drawings and read them to all of my children. As a consequence, I think the Disney version of Pooh--both the graphics and the story--is grotesque and horrible. The same is true of Kipling's Jungle Books comparted to the Disney version. Ugh. Eisner's multicultural Mowgli is an atrocity.

"she and her mother confronted Disney executives with a suitcase full of Pooh stuffed animals, toys, and brochures for Pooh promotions that weren't included on their royalty statements. Vince Jefferds, head of Disney's merchandising division, was furious."

50% of Disney's lifeblood comes from Winnie the Pooh, and not Mickey Mouse? One person doesn't make a realsolid sample size, but my experience is 100% pooh, 0% Mickey and others. They really just don't get interested in it. Can't say they are overly excited about pooh, but they don't get anything over mickey and friends...
From my experience with my kids, Disney has a big hit with The Wiggles (both of my kids love it). The mix of music and imagination really get's my kids attention, which isn't easy to do. I have seen enough Disney channel to appreciate Power Puff girls. I don't think that is good, but I don't think I have any other choices...

You nailed this with your great reply:
What Would Disney Do if I were making money off of Mickey Mouse? That's right. They'd sue me. They need to pay for Pooh!
Since Gay pride pusher Eisner came to Disney, they have been in left wing free fall.
Without the stolen profits from the Pooh Family, Disney would be in massive trouble.
50% of Disney's lifeblood comes from Winnie the Pooh, and not Mickey Mouse!
Disney is typical of the left wing maggot run companies in America. When the Clintoon and his Yeti, Jake Reno, were in charge, there was no controlling legal authority over Disney.
I have boycotted Disney since 1992. Disney should be boycotted by every conservative, and Disney should be removed from the Dow Jones Average.
Finally whenever we have an official SEC director, Disney should be investigated for this criminal activity and other ways they "make" money.

It's all part of the rich tapestry of evil perpetrated by Disney Inc. But the form I posted is a tagline I add to all Disney threads:

It sounds to me like they were hiding something when they threw away those boxes.More than that: it will sound that way to the jury, which is why Disney is fighting to keep the jury from learning this.
