Geraldo is discussing this right now on Fox.

He agrees with us -- the guy needs to talk and talk fast.

Excuse me, but I don't believe that police are "plodders" who just bungle along, taking the easy way out in murder cases (not your exact words, but my inferences).

I've been involved in numerous investigations, and most people would never in a thousand years imagine all that goes on while the police aren't saying much publicly. Not to mention all of the information gathered that may not be disclosed or used at trial, so the public doesn't hear about it.

Obviously there are screwed up cases that have been high profile and get lots of publicity, where even other cops say "Why'd they do it that way?" But trust me, the public doesn't know what efforts are really being made to find other suspects or rule out the husband. You don't really think the cops will publish all they know, I hope.

Usually, in high-profile cases, the info. released is done so for a reason to benefit the investigation. Hopefully, in this case, they are crossing their t's and dotting their i's.

The cops I have worked alongside for years do NOT think in the box, for the most part, they are imaginative and creative in the good sense of the words, their intuition is honed from years on the streets and they often come up with directions to investigate that are unexpected but amazingly accurate. Please don't judge police by what you saw on TV during OJ or other such cases, they are not the norm and not nearly what they appeared to be on TV.

Admittedly, I work primarily with larger agencies, but know many detectives and patrol officers from smaller agencies, and I believe they are equally bright, though they may not have handled as many murders.

There was one particularly gifted detective in the OJ case. His name was Mark Fuhrman.

You can bet that OJ's 1000 lawyers took one look at the stuff that detective had found (small blood spot near door handle of the Bronco, and the glove) and said, "We've got to zero in on this guy before he ruins us!"

Simple. Just about everyone of a certain age or older has said or done something stupid or insensitive at some time in the past. The lawyers knew they just had to find that something. And they did.

IF it wasn't Scott, then there may be a person or persons out there who could kidnap a pregnant woman, deliver the child and sell it for a very high price on the black market...the only thing that points to outside foul play is the dog with the lease still around his collar?

..."There was one particularly gifted detective in the OJ case. His name was Mark Fuhrman...."

You're so right, he was excellent. I've talked to many cops who worked with him, including many minority officers, who backed him 100% as an honest, savvy detective. He didn't need to plant evidence, it was all over the place. The Dream Team did the only thing they could do to save OJ, they played the race card and took out Fuhrman. And the jury bought it, God help us.

Child killer has proclaimed innocence in cards, visits Posted by fatima to TheSpottedOwl On The Smokey Backroom 01/09/2003 11:43 PM PST #419 of 424 Don't know. Please verify were you posted to me .

Great, forgot to copy and paste that particular reply. It's easy to find Fatima, just go back to the Laci Peterson thread and look for the post with the word "gravy" in big brown letters. Haven't seen you since the Westerfield threads. Can't say I missed you and your inappropriate replies.

It is not nice to talk about someone without pinging them, kinda FR nice rule's,You say that you did but you are not telling the truth.

Actually I erased your name off that particular reply, because, believe it or not, I didn't want to hurt your feelings. Fatima, you are on the internet. There are nice people and there are not so nice people on the internet. Be careful who you hang out with. I don't care if you believe I'm telling the truth or, not; I just plain don't care until you start up with the religion. You might want to stick to religious topics...

So you never pinged me but 3 times you said you did,TheSpottedOwl said"I didn't want to hurt your feelings. "90.000 people belong to this site and you posted that I am a "quasi-Catholic" quasi-Catholic ,http://www.umbc.edu/history/CHE/techerpages/Eppard/chenotes.html.
As a result while the Catholic Church
was unified on one level many Roman Catholics broke with Rome and formed their own
quasi-catholic churches."
TheSpottedOwl, said "I don't care",Why should you,I did not post anything against you,you don't care what you post and what you say about me ,which is a lie.
We are in union with Rome,I will post where I please and many people have read your lies on this forum , you lied about our ministry,60 percent non-catholic volunteers, who work hard for the homeless, poor,we have even begun taking donations of food , and girls that have it hard when they are having a baby with no help.
You were right in one thing. My posts on the Westerfield thread were too emotional,so I stopped posting.I believed he killed her.I also respect the posters who felt other wise,J-J- and U- used to pray late at night on that thread for the truth, they were for,I was not,but we prayed as a FR family.

Damn, better pull on the hip boots for this one...

Fatima, Jesus teaches us tolerance combined with righteousness. Beware of the cranks who call themselves Catholic. I have witnessed what happens to a person when they subscribe to hate and intolerance in the name of religion. The Wanderer, or Catholic Family News ring a bell? You can really get spun on this stuff if you aren't careful, Fatima.

Go ahead and post where you please, Fatima. Nevermind that you are a bloody embarassment, and please don't tell me that you are such a selfless, giving person; you just called me a liar. I offered my personal opinion. I'm not lying, I'm stating my opinion. Do you know the difference, Fatima?

Oh a comment on your ministry: I don't know one thing about your ministry. I was calling you out personally. Bully for you and your non-Catholic friends. Let me guess, you're out in Central America, bailing out the Sandinistas...
