Experts warned there will almost certainly be large-scale outbreaks of the bug, better known as winter vomiting virus, in the coming weeks as it reaches its seasonal peak. Isn't there a Barbra Streisand special scheduled to run on Brit TV in "the coming weeks?" Somebody call the CDC - I think I've found the cause.

This puking bug seems to be hitting SE Pennsylvania. We went to a Christmas party where three of the 8 couples couldn't make it because of puking. Has anyone else noticed this?

Experts are unsure about why there has been such a huge increase in cases, but it has been linked to poor hygiene and food preparation in hospitals and care homes.
Hm, state hospitals, perchance?

CDC really is on the case and it is no longer funny.
Likely I suspect, bio-terror and/or a warning shot for things to come.
Actually, the Norwalk virus alone could cause a tremendous amount of economic devastation!

That's interesting. I didn't know that. Hmmm.... could this whole thing started with the cruise ships? First, you taint the food, then after the short cruise, everyone gets on a plane and goes home.

OK, everyone conjure up their favorite scene from Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life". You know what I mean ("Better get me a bucket".).

It swept through our family over Christmas. Knocked us down, one at a time, like dominoes. Didn't know which end to stick on the throne.

Did symtoms include a lot of excessive sweating? (I'm talking torrents of perspiration).

Man, I hate vomiting bugs!

It got me in early November.
I never threw up so much or so hard. My neck muscles were sore for about three days afterward.
Thank God it only lasted a day.

Don't worry, Brits. This happens every time Bubba Klinton is in town.

My wife was hopitalized with something that sounds like this. No fever, just sudden and continuous vomiting.
It hit me a few days later, then my son.
I throw up about once a decade. This one episode will get me to retirement.
