Freep mail that special someone and tell him/her you want off the ping list

Why should the pingee be responsible for being taken off of lists they don't want to be on in the first place? I'd say the pinger should initiate the contact rather than just putting my name on the list and when I ask in the open forum to be removed, they get all pissy about it.

My opinion is you have grounds to sue the pinger for creating your post ping traumatic stress disorder.
