Chicken lover!

But I'll bet anyone who ever heard a similar phrase -- with exactly the same number of syllables, I might add -- cannot hear the commercial stinger line without hearing the familiar epithet of days gone by.
Come to think of it it does sound like that. Who is working at Wendy's advertising agency? Burger King should try and use this angle in their next round of ads.

My opinion of this guy has always been that he is a nut case. Having lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for many years, it was impossible not to have been exposed to him, as he popped up in the media all the time. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, I think he even had some sort of show on the local PBS station.

Gee, I thought he was going to say that he counted the number of blacks in the commercial and noted that they all were on the chicken lover side of the argument. I'm amazed that his column turns out to be stupider than what I was thinking.

Where's the BEEF!?

I think he even had some sort of show on the local PBS station.Yeah, it used to be on right after McLaughlin, IIRC. I would sometime injure myself scrambling for the remote. (Also in DFW.)

But both sandwiches mentioned have BACON. Bobby Ray Sanders is so narrow minded he doesn't even think of all of the Islamic Terrorists who must be offended by the ads.
