"..However, and here's the scary part, this guy really believes what he wrote, and that's as good as he can think..."

No, HERE's the scary thought...
his vote (and millions just like him) counts equally with mine and yours...
The world is just eat up with dumasses.

The funny thing is; all that our DU troll friend is doing is giving you the chance to use the Test Pattern.

Well done, AM.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

And by the freaking way, Troll, don't you a$$holes know how to format over there? Come on! This is basic HTML we're talking about here.

Ah, trying to talk sense into a DU'er is akin to casting pearls before swine.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

I felt anxious, desperate and sick. Is not a good picture. This was only a glimpse of what it really is. Not even a 1-% of the real deal on being poor. BUT SCARY, for the first time I felt hopeless and useless. I said to me, “please God not again”.

This excerpt deserves a proper response, but I've not yet had my caffeine this morning. Will you do the honors?

That day I walked the streets looking for a nickel to complete a $1.50 train fair to at least get home and go to sleep. It took hour and me or so until I found a quarter in the corner, I felt ashamed to beg for change. I slept without eating dinner. I got home I felt relieved, I found enough change to make it back to work the next morning.

I scrape up one dollar fifty cent in change from under living room rug and bottom of laundry hamper and pockets of winter coat. Now I have subway fare to go to work and pick up my routine weekly paycheck. Or I can buy $1 building from HUD and a Drake's Coffee Cake. WHAT I DO?? WHY I HAVE TO MAKE THESE CHOICES? WHY WE ELECT REPUBLICANS?

I go now to check shirt and pantspockets for more coins.

I was typing a response and didn't see yours until now. LOL

Dude spent his entire paycheck by Wednesday and thinks he knows what it's like to be poor. For all we know he spent it stuffing bills into a stripper's g-string.

If he looked around on the sidewalks for change for an HOUR, he could pretty much have walked all or part of his way home.

Me? I know what it's like to be REAL broke. I lived out of the contents of my change jar on a regular basis, for a while. The deli on the corner didn't need to go to the bank for change for months.

When my brothers were in college, they used to sell their plasma every Thursday for beer money ($15 would buy several pitchers back then). So did most of their friends. $15 would buy several pitchers back then, and after having their blood drained they didn't have to drink as much to get a really good buzz. There's always a way...

It strikes me that you're very good at this. A little too good, IMHO. In fact, much, much too good.

Are you the voice in my head?

Dunno. Does this sound familiar? "Psst - hey, Bill. Why don't you go ahead and kill your boss?"

:^)
