In an interview with Neil Cavuto on Fox, John McStain just repeated his claim that Rush is "like a circus clown" then went on to say that he needs to stop saying that "because I've received complaints from circus clowns".
He went on to say that he apologizes to Bozo and Chuckles etc., for the unfortunate comparison.

He obviously has been stung by Rush's parody's and commentary.
McStain is a very small man, IMHO.

I see it now -- McCain's next SNL appearance they'll do a Rush Limbaugh skit. Of course it won't be funny -- why would it -- combining two of the three most humorless entities in history: SNL and McCain. The third would be Al Gore.

That's what you get when you alienate the base. I'm sure McNobrain regrets his political miscalculations in South Carolina.

This just shows what we already knew; McCain is very vengeful. (Human nature, though good people resist.) Limbaugh criticizes McCain, so McCain sees a change for some payback. No problem really. McCreep is entitled to his opinion and it's an opinion that will not resonate well with other Republicans so--BACKFIRE time. hahaha! McVain has a very bad personality.
To: Yankee
In his deranged mind, Limbaugh was one of a small cabal of people who cost him the presidency he's entitled to.
To: Yankee
McCain is a losers loser and can't quite accept it. He's no clown, he is a buffoon.

He seems to be universally loathed in Arizona. I think his wife's special Hillary-style Nazi jewelry (on another post) has more significance now as he tries to please the Demon_rats. The jewelry is the eagle on the globe, strikingly similar to the Nazi symbol of the eagle on a globe. Maybe someone will post it here with appropriate information.
My guess? This is all a ploy to switch to the Demon_rats and run for president in 2004. He could be a bigger flop than the current AlGore.

Rush may be a clown, but McVain is getting all the laughs (at his own expense).
To: Yankee
McVain had a limited appeal among the uniform-envious neocon crowd...young men bewitched by his military history. Kristol, Podhoretz, Lindsay Graham--got turned on by his mothballed uniform and thought they had a winner.
I knew that women couldn't STAND McVain. I thought his mean streak was too obvious, but the city boys who never carried a gun were way impressed. Bush lost NH, and was gracious, hit the ground running. Then McVain lost SC, and he ran around talking about how unfair were the stupid redneck snake-handlers who rejected him, and finally the boys started to catch on.
Sometimes, you might just stop and listen to the gals once in awhile. They had McVain's number from the beginning.
Had he gotten the nom, I just might have stayed at home on election eve...doesn't seem that much worse than Gore.

Maybe someone should seriously question McCain about his military "career"........and his time in Hanoi.
THEN......let's see who the circus clown really is. What a shameless prick.
To: Yankee
For many years he was a useful idiot for the liberal media, their favorite pseudo-conservative. But I think he's just about used up his usefulness. His mask has slipped too far.

You're probably right about him being stung. He must be very strongly driven by his emotions if he's willing to alienate Rush's huge audience over it, though.

He's drawing fire, so Daschle's not the target for a moment.
To: Yankee
Rush a clown?
Rush has been more of a force for good, and has had more influence in changing the direction of this country, then that vindicative, selfish pipsqueak McCain could ever dream about.

I am wondering if it isn't just another attempt to control what people hear. Consider: CFR passed and is in effect; Daschle and McCain are attacking Limbaugh; the NYTimes (I think it was them, with aid from other liberal media outlets) began attacking Fox's Ailes. I see a plan being carried out.

Hey, now, SNL may not have been funny for its entire life, but it utterly redeemed itself during the 2000 race. The SNL rendition of the first presidential debate (complete with Rob Lowe as a very earnest Jim Lerner, Darrell Hammond in orange makeup, and "lockbox") was some of the funniest TV I've seen in my entire life.
And SNL's recent Hardball sketch (with the redoubtable Hammond as Chris Matthews) was downright hilarious. Tracy Morgan proclaiming that "Pokemon is a slave trader; Pikachu is a slave master!" is now one of my all-time favorite TV moments.
SNL Hardball transcript here.

It will be interesting to compare the Military/Industrial complex with the Media/Extremist complex now in place thanks to CFR ...

If I was McCain I would stop playing with matches on this one. Limbaugh literally took McCain out by himself in the South Carolina primary. If he is not careful (which it looks like it is already too late), Limbaugh will burn him again.
McCain will never learn and if he tries another Presidential run (which I think he will), Limbaugh will destroy him again (by telling the truth).

IMO, Rush has done some of his best work over the past several months and I expect more of the same in the future.
If he's a "clown and has lost his way", why would the left be trying to demonize him?
