He had his chance to vote with W to put the Republicans in power, instead he stuck with daschle ... let him stew in his democrat juices.

Nothing personal, but Zell is a major part of the problems in Georgia, caused by the stranglehold the Democraps have had on the State! Miller is a semi-Populist. Zell's method is to look like he is doing the will of the "little People," when his RULE is Democratic Party FIRST!

Nope. Zell's first loyalty is to himself, like most politicians. What is needed is the course of human events to convince him that switching serves Zell's interests, forget any palaver about either the "little people" or the Georgia Democrat Party. He claimed in today's Washington Times that a switch is impossible, but the dam is breaking. The first crack was today's defection of a GA Dem state senator. The next crack will be Pelosi's winning as caucus leader in the House. The trickle could turn into a flood if Landrieu goes down in flames December 7th. He could switch before the year ends.

They don't call him Zig-Zag Zell without a reason.
If he stays, it will be to rebuild the party to what it was in JFK's days.
Weren't those the glory days for the Dems?
I don't think he has anything in common with the current liberal-leaning party he has his name next to.
It would be in his best interest to move. It seems the self-destruction is increasing.
JFK is truly dead.

Only way I see him switching is in protest to some ridiculous filibstering and continued stonewalling by the Minority party as we go forward.

If the Dems try this, they will wish they hadn't.

Might have been the Gipper.

To quote another famous Republican, "A mind is a terrible thing to lose!"
