I agree, I am electronically inclined. The army is always looking for usefull 20 somethings to fight the enemy? I know what job I will sign up for!

when all else fails, some of the more incorrigible hearts and minds need to be atomized.

HAHAHA! Great line! Reminds me of the line from some stupid Chuck Norris movie. Something to the effect that "There's no problem that can't be solved with the right amount of explosives."

I got a kick out of this. A CIA dude flying a toy plane takes out a head terrorist.

It's absurd and funny. I'd hate to be on the wrong end of the CIA, one of the few bureaucracies I admire and still trust.

Ah, Missile Command. The only game my father was able to beat me on. Too bad his Frog couldn't cross the road as well as mine. ;)

A preview of Hell for the "martyrs" before they actually went there

A very brief one to be sure. No 72 virgins if you get smoked by a robot and don't take any infidels with you. Just an enternity of standing on your head in hot boiling pork lard.

A CIA dude flying a toy plane

I wouldn't call someting 25 feet long and with 40+ foot wingspan, mounting anti-tank missles a toy. Well...maybe a big boys toy. Of course I hope the tech flying the bird, likely from the USAF sort of "on loan" to CIA, was a woman. :)

If they created a beta web site and invited people to subscribe to the game, I'll bet they'd get some very competent teenage players. Maybe they could let them work their way up through various levels, and when they reached the top level, they could trade in their rifles and bazookas for Predators and al Qaeda targets.

So when your child is playing video games all the time you can tell the neighbors you son/daughter is practicing to join the CIA air corps. neato!

Seriously, this should have the enemy nervious. The russians gassed them dead. Now we zap them from the sky. I am willing to bet they will start digging tunnels.

Hmmm attack of the molemen. Not just bad sciece fiction theater, is a prediction about the religion of peace. (pieces?)

LOL, except it's PS/2 and XBox; you're dating yourself on the technology.

For infantry pre-basic training, it's been done. It's called America's Army. About a 250M download, realistic first person shooter. You and I paid for it.

Supposedly, when they rev the game, you won't be able to download it; you'll have to pick up a CD at the local recruiting office. 21st century marketing.

Qaed Salim Sunian al-Harethi was not the first to meet his maker via this technology, nor will he be the last; click the picture below. It would appear, however, they're getting better at identifying the remains . . .

This might not be correct. I read in the stories in one of the threads that the control was being done from the other side of the Red Sea, I think in Qatar -- maybe 300 miles.

You fear? A message has been sent to those who need to hear it. You want to fight from undercover, without standing up like a man, you die the same way, without warning. I suspect the message is being digested as we speak.

I think it's going to take a much, much bigger message to make an impression. An Ender-sized message. Remember the end?

While I think that is what is required, and see the necessity of sending that bigger message, it doesn't mean I have to like it.
