Can't answer your question about internet radio, but I did read that the local TV affiliates got many angry phone calls and one station manager even lamented that there wasn't much he could do when it went from eulogy to rally.

As one Freeper has mentioned, it reminded me of a Munich rally of the Nazis in memory of Horst Wessel. These people will do anything to stay in power AND humiliate and slander the opposition.
Mark my words - if the Dems regain the Senate and House (and we elect Shillary as Prez), they will make an attempt to change the Constitution so that we are no longer a Constitutional Republic. That want a pure Democracy since their demographics favor this form of government. They have no shame and will destroy our country just to stay in power.

I read those articles too and I'm really interested in hearing the take that the locals have on this. I figure local talk radio is the best way to hear it. I've done a google search and came up with nothing.

This was the basic message of the evening:
"Please Republicans! In order to honor the memory of Paul Wellstone, could you just give up campaigning and allow liberal Demmycrats everywhere to win so that we might have a socialistic country? If you don't do this, you are smearing the memory of Paul Wellstone!"

All major affiliates in MN pre-empted regular programming to carry this maudlin spectacle. It was sold to them as a news worthy event--a somber, respectful, SHORT memorial event. They were hoodwinked as it turned into a 2 1/2 DNC campaign rally.
The MN GOP would have every right to be jumping all over the networks demanding equal time.

Good for Jesse. From all accounts, the Pubbies have gone out of their way to emphasize what a decent person Sen. Wellstone was, and as usual, the children's wing of the Rat Party showed just how classless they are. I pray that somehow, someway when Ronald Reagan goes to a better place the Toon and the witch of an alleged wife of his are somewhere else. Them pulling their "look at me" crap will result in a sharp rise in TV sales, as many good Americans put their feet through the screens at the sight of the antics of the criminals.

What! The Dims were adament about how there should be no campaigning and what slime GOPers would be if they did not wait to do so. It turned about to be one big campaign rally for the dims. What a puke fest.

"Sucker Mom" - good one, I hadn't heard it before. Sums it up nicely.
To: ambrose
What really matters is how the "independent" Sucker Mom voter reacts to this spectacle I haven't seen any replays of the "service" -- thankfully --has there been any reaction to how it will be received by the voting masses? Any post-service "polls" done, or have there been any irate calls into C-SPAN?

These people truly do not have any class. They are disrespectful and selfish and care not a twit about anyone but themselves. I wouldn't vote for any of them because they have not a clue and I would prefer not to trust my life to the clueless.
To: Elkiejg
How embarrassing. The Democratic Party is all Clinton. No-class trash.

Cheney is a lot smarter than anyone knows--SAW the agenda

The rats were seen as dancing on Wellstones grave, truly ghoulish.

Well, we know that Limbaugh will have much to say, but like you I would prefer to hear from a few semi-honest democrats in the state who will admit that the DNC turned this into the most grotesgue partian opportunism that the history of man has ever seen. This even pales the Ron Brown "show" that Clinton put on. The democrats LOVE photo ops around DEATH, such as Columbine, tornados, and terrorist events (you may have read of Nagle trying to park his large butt in very photo angle when Bush went to ground zero in New York). These people are not the lowest form of human, they are at least one notch up from the terroists.

The rats were seen as dancing on Wellstones grave, truly ghoulish. This from the people who had an absolute excrement-fit over a picture of President Bush looking out a window of Air Force One while talking on the phone. Remember? You would have thought he had held a fundraiser in the Oval Office or something. er... wait a minute.
Credit goes to Glen Beck for pointing this out on his show this morning. He also did a very funny imitation of what Wellstone's corpse would sound like if the Democrats pumped him full of air and held him up for the cameras. Vote... Mondale!

Class act:
"The Psalms tell us 'Tears remain for an evening, but joy comes in the morning,'" Coleman said. "We continue to grieve for Paul and Sheila. But I'm certain they would want us to get on with the battle of ideas they enjoyed so much."
