Yep we do: John Mohammed!

This guy changed his name, much like John Walker Lindh changed his name to Abdullah Mohammad Shiekh or something like that.

Police want to question Lee Malvo [Malveaux?] (17yr and citizen of Jamaica ) and John Mohammed [or Mohammed Williams?](42yr). Mohammed former soldier at Ft. Lewis with 84th engineering corp and stepfather to Malvo. Both men are thought to be in 1990 Chevy Caprice with NJ plate NDA-21Z.

I had the feeling this was a wider conspiracy..
The police knew about much of this all along, and only now they feel confident enough to tell the press about it.
I had a bad feeling about this....

citizen of Jamaica
Like the shoe bomber...

I thought Richard Reid the shoe bomber was from England?
He's probably from England, with connections to Jamica.

Harrumph, the HTML robot interpreted my comma as part of the URL. If you go there, get rid of the comma and the BBC story will load.

... a source said the stump would be returned to Washington, D.C., for analysis. I know this is proper procedure, but something about sending a tree stump clear across the country for analysis strikes me as amusing. Talk about central planning, etc.

I swear to god I thought I heard Chief Moose say "discharge" when he meant to say "this charge".
Please tell me I am wrong.

Idiot writer doesn't even know how big this country is. The article refers twice to Tacoma and Washington being 2000 miles apart. Geez.

"This guy changed his name..."True, but I doubt that he changed his name to "Mohammed" when he was inducted into the Klan, which is more or less what the FBI profile released yesterday (40-year-old white male loner NRA gun nut) implied. With that name, and a Jamaican stepson, he's prettly clearly an American-born Black Muslim. Lone nutcase or terrorist has yet to be determined.

al-Qaeda trained...but who trained the trainers?

You aren't the only one. Was it just a coincidence that the feds raided that group in Portland the day after the shootings began in DC? They were conducting small arms training and had been suspected of training in camps in Afghanistan (if my memory serves me right). Now they are saying that they had links to the camp in Alabama? When they raided the place (in Portland) they found one empty .223 shell casing but no rifles that fire a .223 round.
If my hunches have been correct, I guess they didn't want to panic the sheeple.

Ask the Muslim Chaplin at Ft Lewis...we train em and recruit em..

Could these "people of interest" be "people of cover?" For Heaven's sake why can't these bureaucrats speak plain English?
