Remember there are three basic evils in this world that all start with Al:

(1) Al-Gore
(2) Al-Jazerra
(3) Al-Queda

I think (3) has sent out sniper(s) to divert security forces away from some future Al-Queda target in the D.C. Area. Not confirmed, just my thought on the subject.

Yes, it's almost as if they are trying to get more and more law enforcement to an area so that they aren't able to respond to another, bigger incident in some other area. I've considered this approach as a possible attack scenario ever since 9/11/2001.
