Report: Bin Laden is alive and will appear on TV soon

Somehow I'm reminded of Ed Wood, Jr. After Bela Lugosi died, he had a problem--the only footage of Bela he had for Plan Nine from Outer Space was a bit of Bela skulking around under a tree with his cape on, and puttering about in front of a house....but he had a brilliant idea, and got his wife's chiropractor to do the rest of Bela's part.

Of course, the guy was a foot taller than Lugosi, and blond...but he just held the cape up in front of his face while he was on camera. I can just imagine Wood saying "We'll have him hold the cape up in front of his face, and nobody will know the difference! It'll be great!"

Al-Rashed was quoted as saying that bin Laden chose not to appear on a videotape on the first anniversary of the attacks, because he did not want people to "tie (his) victory to his character."

I'll bet. I'm sure the Taliban would like to 'thank' him for getting them thrown out of Afghanistan.

"Bin Laden is completely indifferent to all claims that he was killed. He does not choose the time of his appearances to deny such claims," al-Rashed said, according to the magazine.

Indifferent because he's deceased. Haven't we already waited through about three or four promises that Bin Laden would give some sign he was still breathing, only to have nothing occur?
