No I didn't write, wish I was that smart. Here's where I got it from:

And please, don't hesitate to pass it on.

Marinated...in beer?

With statments like that, you emulate your Freeper name.

Leadership that thinks itself above scrutiny Clinton is deluded at best and corrupted at worst.
Saves time . . .

Guess there aren't too many youngsters (black or white) learning that poem these days.

I never learned it either. Thank you for posting it!

Maybe some of the liberals are finally seeing the truth about their "supposed" leaders.

You mean like the part about how the military snipers in Memphis in the event of widespread rioting were told not to fire on the people with King not wearing ties, as they were the informants for the FBI and military intelligence?

No problem. It's a great story for those who bothered to read the full poem in the link (and visit Frederick, MD!). Apparently school kids were required to learn and recite it back in the 1930s.

"More troubling is that Jackson's call for censorship suggests that he thinks he, King and Parks have earned the right not to be scrutinized or challenged by black people.""
But our Founding have NOT earned the the same right?
