The only way Reno can win is if she picks up enough votes to pull ahead of McBride.

How's THAT for keen insight into the inner workings of the voting process?!? Holy cr*p, it's even worse than I thought in the state that gave us real reason to fear the dumbing down of America.

Ok new rule!
If you live in Broward County, Dade County, you can no longer vote. This ban will remain in effect until you can PROVE to the rest of us that you can walk and chew gum at the same time.

It makes me so furious these communist scum are trying to pin their total lack of professionalism and knowledge on Jeb Bush. Oh, JEB failed? Then why did 65 counties get it right? Why did the other 11 counties that also used the touch screens get it right?

Hopefully people are smart enough to see through this. Of course the communists won't, but I did say "people".

There was a post containing a quote from Rep. Alcee Hastings here last week, and I seem to remember him threatening some kind of legal action if Bush "interfered" with the election process by firing Oliphant. Now I can't find it. The Republicans need to dredge his threat up and use it as one means to counter all this bs.

In my opinion, the best way for the Demoncrats to alienate the entire rest of the state, and those voters in Miami-Dade and Broward, is for her to file suit against the Republicans. The counter-suit, the discovery process, all those issues will contribute to sink the dems for sure come November!

Good analysis. I agree with your assessment... she'll fold the tent because McBride and McAwful will make her.

The "blame Bush" cannard is not playing with the public, even in South Florida, and not even with the most liberal columnists across the state.

I would love to see her use Bush to get some Democrats in big trouble.

Public Radio is right. It is causing democrats problems. My husband is a democrat and really, really thought that the 2000 election fiasco had been engineered by Jeb Bush. You should listen to him now! Noting that the same counties are involved, even he is saying that some people should not be allowed to vote, not if they are that incompetent. He also realizes that the problems are coming from democrat-run districts. He hates the Bush brothers, but clearly sees that they are not the problem here. If he sees this, then there's hope!

I bet that Janet never sues. When "herbILL" calls today or tomorrow, she will meekly step aside for McBride.

Jeb is always calm and composed. That's why most of us Floridians follow his lead and remain calm even while the rest of the country is laughing at us. He's a good role model, the poster boy for cool and in charge.

If Janet Reno does actually sue Jeb Bush, then Jeb Bush will sue the Democratic Precincts and then McBride will be drug into any lawsuit because he was part of the election that Janet would challenge. The court case hurts McLawyer in the long run.

We'll be so sick of attorneys by November that Jeb will win in a landslide because he's the only non-lawyer. McBride is running an awful campaign at the moment and Reno has made it awkward for McBride to do or say anything. When McBride does talk, it's often incorrect anyway.

Reno obviously doesn't care how much this costs us - the Florida taxpayers...or that we need those $$$ resources to secure our ports and coastal waters, or that she's making a mockery of our precious election process in the eyes of the watching world..in places where people risk their lives to vote, as long as her ego is soothed, and she thinks she can hurt Gov. Bush. Democrats running for office today are too selfish to be trusted with anyone's security, children or property.

Oliphant relinquishing control of struggling Broward elections office.

Re: Reno suing Bush for election fiasco

"Does that mean we should be ready to read about the courthouse being burned to ground, any day now?"

HAHAHAHA! Good one!
