The Shoney 3 would have been much better off, if they had acted humble and apologized for the situation. They could have said, there may have been a misunderstanding, we regret that,we're sorry that so many people were inconvenienced... Instead, they call Eunice a racist, a hate monger and a publicity seeker. They may not be terrorists, but they sure behave like thugs.

I hope that puts the elitist MEDIA back on their heels also! They are trying to portray Eunice as a stupid hick and that makes me angry. How many of them sponsored ANYONE? The media elites always talk a good game but when it comes down to who helps others it's always the "little people" doing the good deeds. They owe Eunice an apology but she'll never get it.

I watched Greta interview them on Fox and am convinced they are lying. Eunice did the right thing and I believe her side of the story.

I saw Greta's show tonight also. I agree with you.

This guy is from the KC area. Saw them on Greta tonight and they came across as slimy. And then there are the dogs. I believe Eunice.

I didn't see Greta, but I saw them on Larry King. They seemed credible to me... All of them are American - Two of them were born here, and the 3rd was born in Jordan and is an American citizen. They really acted humble and did not have a bad word to say about Mrs. Stone - they even commented on her hospitalization and hoped for a speedy recovery(paraphrasing). When asked whether they would consider a lawsuit they vehemently said no.

I heard Mrs Stone live on Fox that day and she didn't miss a beat. The REPORTERS sure did - they kept referring to her as the "Georgia waitress" (she was a customer) and also misreported that she got the crayons for writing down the license # from her son - making him sound like a child - he is 18. Her story is exactly the same as it was on Friday.

Are the reporters misreporting these students comments, or attributing others comments (i.e. their families comments) to them?? It's getting curiouser and curiouser.

I think it's because they hate LE or any kind of authority. Without it we wouldn't be a very civil society. Everyone in life makes mistakes including LE but that doesn't mean that they are all corrupt. Most of them are hardworking, honest people who are our family, friends and neighbors. I respect them and appreciate what they do that the same people who put them down constantly wouldn't or couldn't do.

BTW, who the hell cares what these NAY SAYERS think. Let one of their familiy members get murdered by one of these pieces of crap and let's hear them then. It's more fashionable to bash the South than to bash the PC crowd. Eunice is recieving a harder time of it than the three who caused the whole mess. I believe Eunice and she will be proven to have done the right thing regardless of what anyone else says about her.

The other thing that backs up your theory is that for some odd reason they chose to drive from Atlanta to Miami via Naples --again, definitely not the shortest or more direct route.

Why would you go to the West Coast of Florida in order to reach the East Coast...and, as far as I've seen, nobody has reported yet whether these guys were traveling east or west on Alligator Alley. Either way, it's pretty strange.

On Larry King tonight, the trio insisted only one of them spoke Arabic. Yet all three have distinct accents.

Seventeen hours in a squad car can do strange things to your memory.

One of those punks' sister came on T.V. , on the weekend and fussed and fumed and called Eunice names. The punks' story changes from day to day and from program to program. Staurday, they were arrogant as all get out; today, they were more subdued. I don't belive them.

It wasn't the media, who said that Eunice claimed that they spoke in Arabic ... it was the three punks, tonight, on Greta's show. Eunice Stone NEVER said that they were talking in Arabic. That's just one thing, out of many, which they have lied, on camera , about. The media / reporters muddled things ; they LIE !

One question that has never been answered is what happened between Atlanta and Alligator Alley. My road atlas shows 661 miles from Atlanta to Miami, so I guesstimate around 600 miles from Atlanta to Naples.

They were in Atlanta around 11:00am, and they were stopped in Naples 14 hours later, around 1:00am. So these guys who were 5 hours behind at 11:00am took 14 hours to make a easy 10 hour drive. Something doesn't add up.

Where were they and what were they doing for the missing 4 hours? 4 hours is plenty of time to make a delivery anywhere along the west coast of Florida.

They did state that that they will not be filing a law suit against Ms. Stone.

Homeland Security and Ashcroft should immediately schedule a press conference...and state that law suits against people that they, themselves, have encouraged to inform of suspicious activity will not be tolerated.

Frankly, I don't care what some FREEPERS say either. I care that they call themselves " CONSERVATIVES " and are here defending those punks and claiming that the rest of us are stupid clods !

There are good and bad apples in every profession / job. To blame ALL LEs, is offensive, juvenile, and stupid. I have respect for those, who try to uphold our laws. The anarchists here don't have any common sense at all. No laws = CHAOS and no more civilization.

Anyone wonder how 19 men were able to ram planes into our buildings? This is how they are operating as IN YOU FACE calling people racist's liars and people backing down from them. Thank GOD for Eunice and her strength and determination in standing up to them. I only hope that I could do the same if presented with the same situation.

Anyone smart enough around here to build a web-site in support of Eunice? I would like to let her, her family and the the local town know that someone is supporting her. It can be very lonely when doing the RIGHT and HONEST thing!

Just want to back up your calculations....Florida is a long state...lots bigger than most people realize. But I made it from Pensacola to West Palm Beach in 12 hours. It's about 2 1/2 hours from Atlanta to Tallahassee, 5 hours from Tallahassee to Orlando, and, depending on your route, another 2 to 3 hours to Naples.

This post started the Marco Island watch:

Also, in Tampa on the way to Naples on I-75, we have this guy and his cronies:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/704496/posts

This is the first stuff I thought of when their route hit the news. If they were going to Miami ASAP they would have taken I-75 to the Florida Turnpike north of Tampa then from the turnpike to I-95 and on to Miami. Perhaps they had a stop on the way.....maybe the scent was caused by something dropped off before they were detained.

I, too, believe Eunice and the credibility of these guys diminishes every time they open their mouths.

Or they could have taken the Turnpike further south to Miami, which is definitely the long way. But still a lot shorter than going to Naples first!

One guy on another thread said there is a confusing turnoff from I-75 near Orlando that can screw you up and send you to Naples. I never noticed it, but maybe somebody currently in Florida can validate this.
