WASHINGTON — President Bush canceled a planned visit to Minnesota on Friday, the White House said.

No explanation was offered, and officials did not return repeated phone calls Tuesday.

Bush had planned to come for a roundtable discussion and a speech on welfare in Minneapolis.

Bill Walsh, the chairman of the state GOP, said he had not heard of the cancellation.

"It was not a political event," he said. "We're hoping to get him back any time."

I know it is not possible....but it would be so bold to begin the first strike on Sept 11th. I cannot WAIT until the people of Iraq are free from that barbaric horror..and I cannot wait until citizens from the free world smote Saddam's factories of horror. It is time to prevent absolute horrors (genuinely evil people) from using nuclear and biological weapons to incite fear upon the entire world.

How Blessed we are, how very fortunate we are, that with our power, we have chosen to free others rather than take them over and forever hold them in bondage-the rest of the world is fortunate that we live by this rule of law, as well.
