Since you do apparently know what's going on, could you direct me to a website that would have information on the sizes of the staffs of individual congressmen and senators and the payroll for each congresscritter's staffers?
I am familiar with the history. Most of what you say is true. I never said that Israel's neighbors were peaceful, or that Israel was ever at peace. I'm not aware that Germany (pre-Third Reich) and Germany (post-Third Reich) look any different. Ditto Japan. Ditto Italy.
Don't forget that my original posting was to refute the statement that the Palestinians were "forcibly deporting" the Israelis from the occupied territories ala Milosevic in Kosovo. I thought is was a bad analogy, that's all, and didn't think it necessary to go into a whole "History of Israel" Part III to make my point.
Don't assume a person is ignorant because of the number of words they use to make a point. Just like I don't assume that a person knows what he is talking about when he innundates me with irrelevant drivel.
Irrelevant? You are making factual mistakes. The fact is that it was not a dispute - but an attack on Israel by arabs. Their neighbor never did think this was fair (since other neighbors didn't do it to each other when they disputed), and have been wanting their property back for the last 35 years.
Another mistake. Arabs were at war with Israel since 1948, not since 1967. Yet another mistake is that "other neighbors didn't do it to each other...". They did.
Finally, ten years ago, they started to play rough. <p Yet another mistake. Arabs didn't start to "play rough" 10 years ago. I guess you find facts irrelevant.. Why let facts get in the way.... Carry on.
