Once again, Reuters doesn't even bother to hide its pro-Arafat bias—this is an easily-disproved lie. Just to take one example, a 16-year-old girl blew herself up in Kiryat Yovel on March 29, 2002, killing 2 and injuring 30. I guarantee you that Reuters calls 16-year-old gang-bangers shot by police "children," and calls 16-year-olds shot in hunting accidents "children," and calls 16-year-olds who work "child labor," and calls 16-year-olds who lack health insurance "uninsured children," et cetera. Apparently, though, Reuters considers suicide bombing a rite of passage that automatically turns a 16-year-old into an adult. I wonder whether merely strapping on the vest is sufficient, or if Jews must actually die to complete the transformation to adulthood?
