Herald receives letter from pipe bomb suspect (Full text of 7-page letter with pics!)

This was posted last night on an internet message board by someone who knew him and attended the same college (I X'ed out a name and part of an obscenity):

yeah this kid was in the same program I did and was dating XXXXX XXXX's room mate... guess he was wierd as hell and did alot of drugs... sh.. like opium and XTC` ....... huge ANTI government guy... belived in ghosts.. aliens.. and obivously wants some attention!
The campus looks like something out of Men In Black... guys running around in trench coats and sunglasses...
his whole appartment was blocked off and friends of ours couldnt even go back to there appartments...

Reading this made his little rant somewhat more understandable...enough weed, opium and exctasy and I guess his moronic ramblings might make sense to some people.

Ed Dhames is a pathological liar, and Art Bell is little more than that. If there was any truth to remote viewing, I'm sure that one of my many challenges issued to prove it, might have been taken. I hate a lot of new agers, because they are so full of themselves. The whole New Age Movement isn't about enlightenment, it's about money. If there was any altruism behind the whole Paranormal, and New Age Movement, there wouldn't be so many books out there to buy.

This kid is also a total wacko, who was brainwashed. Yes, this kid who looks pretty normal, when you see him on TV, you can tell he's wacked. He's so far removed from the reality of this situation, not to mention he looks stoned as hell, and seems to enjoy the attention he's getting. I mean, he's wearing a Kurt Cobain T-shirt for cripes sake. This kid has LOSER written all over him. I guess failing out of college was worse than becoming a psycho unabomber wannabe. This kid shouldn't be put away, he should be sterilized. That way, his moronic psycho genes can't be passed on to another generation of troglodytes with a penchant for violence.

His father who keeps saying his kid isn't like this, is deluding himself. Of course, his kid wasn't anywhere around him for the last year or so, and people can change a lot in a short amount of time. Especially if they are totally brainwashed like this kid was. Those liberal professors must be proud of their jobs right now. Probably hanging out in the Teacher's lounge drinking coffee, smoking weed, saying, Dude... That Helder Kid really came through for us. Looks like we'll get more funding for counseling this year!

They should cap this kid, and be done with it. He's totally unredeemable. With our luck, he'll be back on the streets in less than 3 years.

Yeah. The "tackling" fear he had might be some kind of crazy, personal thing. He played wide receiver in high school. To a crazy person, a position like that where one is often tacked, at high speed, and often blind-sided, should leave quite an "impression" on this decrepit synapses. He's a coward, but I don't see the weird "tackle" comment as necessarily a sign of that, but a symptom of something else.

"Crazy" is often loosely used, but in this case appropriate.
