The gals need to come up with a different pose - the obligatory "thumb pulling pants down a bit" in each shot is getting a bit repetitive.

I saw the Marshall Tucker Band and Little Feat there!!! And, I was just visiting back in 82 or so. The Fox was awesome ... that's where the Skynyrd Live album was recorded, right?

I believe you are correct about the Skynard live album.

Although not amongst what some would consider high quality rock and roll, some of my best times at 80's concerts were the Six Flags series, which were free with park admission, back then.

We sat on the kudzu hill and saw; Kansas, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, Joan Jett, and probably a few I don't remember....;')

Sigh.....memories....or what's left of em'...

You know, Phil Donahue told our mothers that if we took Visene around with us, we might be smoking pot!

Whatever her political affiliations, may she rest in peace. May her torment that was displayed on earth finally be put to peace. Anyways, I like TLC and I'll miss hearing her!

The typical rebellous youth- including burning down Andre Rison's house some years ago. She did her time and sought counseling. She and Andre were planning on getting married later this year, and Lisa recently had a spiritual awakening. Regardless of her past, her influence (with her bandmates in TLC) will be missed. I still remember seeing them in the early 90s with condoms all over their clothes. It was hysterical- and a brillant marketing gimmick that got the girls on the map. 'I ain't to proud to beg' is a classic early hip-hop-pop song.

RIP Left Eye... Why the name Left Eye? She once said, 'because I is always right'. LOL

So that's what that smell was, I thought people were starting kudzu fires to fight off the evening chills...;')

If I need it in the morning
or the middle of the night
I ain't 2 proud 2 beg (no)
If the lovin' is strong
and he got it goin' on and
I ain't 2 proud 2 beg (no)
2 inches or a yard
rock hard or if it's saggin'
I ain't 2 proud 2 beg (no)
So it ain't like I'm braggin'
just join the paddywagon cause
I ain't 2 proud 2 beg, I ain't 2 proud 2 beg

Thanks for the walk down memory lane, rintense. I feel like I grew up with TLC. I remember listening to "OOH...on the TLC Tip" in college, but their best work was "Crazy, Sexy, Cool." God bless you, Lisa, and may you rest in His loving arms eternally. You will be missed.

I think it would be renamed TC..if Lisa is the 'L' in the group, they will just plug a solo artist-someone who is a little bit wild and long in the tooth like Van Halen..

I don't know why this story needs to be posted on Freerepublic

I am happy it was posted. FreeRepublic is where one can sometimes find out what one has been missing. Now I know I don't need to buy one of their albums since I can listen to them or something just like them anytime by pulling up next to or within 500' of a basscar at a stoplight.

I kind of liked her. She was a no-BS kind of girl.

She was also quite the babe. The accident she was in sounds kind of fishy to my paranoid mind.
