It is exciting to see the Lord pour out his spirit upon all flesh and to be a part of it.

What a blessing.

Benny Hinn is and always will be a false prophet. Some of what he has said borders on blasphemy.

He's just another 'Word of Faith' TV ripoff artist.

Yeah, and I had a vision that if I got on TV and threw some Bible verses around real pretty, I could get some suckers to send me money.

Hinn's a showman more than anything.

Isn't this the same guy who says there are 9 entities in the Godhead? I think I'll take my messages straight from the Word of God, thank you very much.

Isn't this the guy who said God told him there were 9 parts in the Trinity? Or that Eve was to originally give birth out of her side? Or any number of things that are total unbiblical nonsense?

As a conscientious follower of the true biblical Jesus (by grace alone) I can have no respect at all for this false teacher...

How much mockery has Hinn caused to my Christ??? May God judge him soon!

Haven't seen or heard this preacher. Sounds like a heterodox, perhaps with a touch of gnosticism.

That sounded so weird I had to web search it! Here's a post someone made, of cours I can't vouch for its correctness. :)

"I am not one of the followers of Benny.

Benny Hinn The Faith Healer

Benny Hinn teaching on the trinity.

on tape #TV283, entitled "A New Spirit," which aired on TBN

on October 13, 1990, Mr. Hinn states:

Benny Hinn teaching on the 9 Godheads

"God the Father, ladies and gentlemen, is a person, and He is a triune being by Himself, separate from the Son and the Holy Ghost."

"See, God the Father is a person, God the Son is a person, God the Holy Ghost is a person, but each one of them is a triune being by Himself. If I can shock you, and maybe I should, there's nine of them."

"God the Father, ladies and gentlemen, and God the son, and God the Holy Ghost -- man, I feel revelation knowledge already coming on me here -- I want you to lift your hands, something new is gonna happen here today, I felt it just as I walked down here. Holy Spirit, take over in the name of Jesus (clap). Say Amen."

"This is all in the word, God the Father is a person separate from the Holy Ghost -- totally separate. When we say the Holy Spirit, we do not mean the personal spirit-being of the Father. He's a separate personality. Do you know that the Holy Spirit has a soul and a body, separate from that of Jesus and the Father?"."

His fabrications are extravagant - you've not missed anything but apostacy. Apparently he once claimed his father was Mayor of Jaffa in Israel. An easy thing to refute or confirm. Needless to say, it was a lie.

the Lord was going to topple the current government of Iran.

That means when the current government changes
hands, it will be God's doing?  No government stays
in power forever, so the fact of change means nothing,
and this prophecy predicts nothing.

If Benny is saying the next government will be God's
choice, since he is going to be making way for them,
then we will get to see what kind of political leaders
God likes, I guess.  To me, though, the fact that Iran
is already a theocracy makes me wonder if God is
for the separation of church and state, since He
is going to 'topple'  a theocracy.

Well, if true, that'd be great - on the other hand I have it on pretty good authority that God is really on the side of the current government in Iran.

The Democrats will just have to be patient a while longer.

Anyone who believes this shyster is either naive or dense.

To those of you who consider themselves Judge, remember, Jesus said there will be tares in with the wheat anyway, so why be so concerned about Benny Hinn. God is the Judge; let Him do his job, but woe to us if we think we can fill His shoes in this office.

Is that before or after God destroys all homosexuals by fire?
Opps my mistake, Hinn said God would destroy the homosexuals before 1995.
So I guess they're all gone now.

Back up your mouth with some facts. I've be a born again Christian for 25 years and have never heard anything that Benny Hinn has stated inconsistant with God's Word. Best be careful when you critisize God's soldiers that you know what you're talking about or, as you know, you'll be stutering before our Lord as to how you came to up with your fully baked ideas.

Rev 22:18-19

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

From the last Chapter of God's Word. Nothing is to be added to the prophecy (until He returns). Beware of those who come with signs and wonders:

Matt 24:24

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Be well and be careful out there.

I was flipping throuth the channels and saw him writing Hinn a 250,000 check. He hadn't gone to the doctor yet but "knew" he had been healed. Evidently he was. I don't know what to think because I don't like the Hinns of this world.

A good and trusted friend of mine is a multimedia event director. He told me that he worked two or three Hinn "Shows". He said that even he was outraged, because he could hear in his headphones which people in line for "healing" were plants. Now, making this guy shocked is a real job. I always want to think the best of people, but Hinn is a fraud.

In Christ,

Back up your mouth with some facts. I can't believe how many of you people are so quick to criticize one of God's soldiers. I'be attended some of his prayer meetings that are attended to by thousands. What do all of you know that paints this guy as so evil? Along with other evangilists, he's spreading God's Word across the world. Just because you may not believe in all that he might profess doesn't mean he's not sincere and knows what he's taling about. First, one needs to ask themselves, does God allow His Word to be prophesied by current evangilists? If people think God no longer allows prophesies to be transmitted they need to do some more studying. Time will tell if the prophesies made are accurate or not. If they're not THEN the person making that prophesy didn't get it from God and can be critisized.

LOL

Still he resumed fighting after he was banned with a irreversable heart defect. (And fought some of his best fights.) He fought part of his last fight in heart failure before "The Hinn Experience". Still Don King probably healed him with a proper application of cash to the examining doctor!

What does that mean? What's wrong with claiming what one wants? The spirit world works on the whole self-fulfilling prophesy concept. IF one says they are poor, they'll be poor. If one worries that they'll get some sickness, then that's what will happen. The Bible says that our tongue is like the rudder of a ship or the bridle of a horse, it will steer out future based on what we say, whether it's for our benefit or detriment.

The Bible makes it clear that God's plan for his people is to live debt free if possible while Benny Hinn encourages people to use their credit cards to pledge thousands of dollars per service!

How could that be consistent with the word of God?

Did God Lie?

Benny Hinn claims to speak for GOD. Either God was wrong or Benny.

In regards to Evander Holyfield, please read Deut 13:1-3. Personally, I wish the best for Hinn(i.e. he would start teaching according to God's Word.) But I love God too much to ignore/overlook Hinn's wild teachings. Hinn himself has denounced his own teachings before. But he always goes back.

Ever heard of faith?? People can be healed, but if they don't have faith to continue to believe that God would really perform a miricle on them, then it's a possibility that that person's affliction might return. I've heard of a story where an elderly woman had her hearing restored, and when she was asked to give up her hearing aid, she didn't want to let it go because it cost so much. In just a few minutes her healing had left her and she could no longer hear again. God's spiritual realm is based on faith and won't come under scrutiny of the world. I've seen many stories where people have come back from their doctor with xrays showing the growth, disease, or whatever they had was gone. Whether people want to believe healing occurs or it doesn't occur they're right.

You fail to understand that God is sovereign. He knows what is best for you. It may be that He will have you go through trials and tribulations for reasons you cannot see.

You can name anything you want, but you have no power to really claim anything. Even your salvation is a gift from God. He gave it to you. You did nothing to deserve it.

If 'name it claim it' would work, why didn't Paul the apostle do it? It is because he knew that apart from Christ he could do nothing.

God never promised us riches, health or the good life on earth, He only promises to be with us through it all. That's why Paul wrote, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
