On the Alice thing... he is actually a Republican...golfs and everything.. and yes he's from Arizona, and his father was a minister.

``Never let America forget that these are our rights and we can get them back,'' said YoungYeah. Right.

It's always nice when the likes of Lear's Limo Liberals for the Hollywood Way have taken time away from their shrinks, astrologers, rebirthing enablers, spirit channelers, candy connections OR rehab doctors and gurus to so kindly instruct the Rest Of Us on how to live.

'Harvest Moon' is a thing of beauty...an absolutely wonderful performance of an absolutely wonderful tune.

Interesting attitude from the man who wrote about "tin soldiers and Nixon coming...four dead in Ohio..." I might be wrong ... but I believe that it was David Crosby who wrote that. Neil wasn't with the band then.

That's particularly striking when you consider that... well... I mean, just
look at him!

While it's possible he could have switched, I think ol' Trey just likes the shock value of tweaking these clowns. Anybody who tweaks those clowns is OK in my book, regardless of the reason. Stone and Parker are two of the most (maybe THE most) politically incorrect figures in show business.

Did anyone see the Alice Cooper (KISS) interview last night? He wanted to kill the families too! WHOA!!!! Wait a minute.. thats an extremely narrow minded opinion of what Gene Simmons (not Alice Cooper) said last night. He said basically, we take them all out. When O'Reilly said "the families too?" (or something to that effect) Gene Simmons said you wouldn't do that on purpose,..but there "would be collateral damage".
I was actually impressed with his statements. He was a lot smarter than I had previously given him credit for. I admit I had stereotyped him into the rock/gunk funk groups. :o)
Lets endeavor to keep it straight here people!! Lets not start "misquoting" or "misrepresenting" what peoples words or intent were.
Hard to believe you and I watched the same show! :o)

Matt and Trey have said for years that they were Republicans and that they supported Bush for President. Sadly the Libertalibans always tried to claim them as their own.

"Out of the Blue" and "into the Black" were both from 1979's Rust Never Sleeps.
Oddly, Neil refused an interview request from Johnny Rotten for his VH1 show. Neil claimed he wouldn't do an interview with someone he didn't know. Mr Rotten was (justifiably) miffed.

Yeah. He looks dangerous. Unclean certainly and probably a commie. He's definately used marijuana in his day. How surprising then that he'd come out in favor of giving up constitutional protections in exchange for magic beans (aka SFA). I thought only good, God-fearing, Christian Republicans came out in favor of exchanging essential liberty for the pretense of security.

I hope Neil Young will remember, a southern man don't need him around anyhow.

There are two versions, one acoustic and one electric. One is entitled "Out of the Blue" and the other "In to the Black," but I forget which is which. Each has slightly different lyrics.

I hope all you southern men remember that Skynyrd came to befriend Neil, and were fixin' to record three of his songs until their airplane ran outta gas. One of the band members intimated in an interview years ago that they knew they'd get some publicity by attacking an established star, so I don't think the "feud" was so intense. Just somethin' to do when you're "workin' for MCA."
