Let's send the senator a few love notes to remind him he's NOT the commander in chief... Joseph R. Biden, Jr. (D-DE) Email: senator@biden.senate.gov

Sayeth nicmarlo:
The only people I read who claim that Biden’s comments were taken out of context are you, Biden, of course, and one other liberal Democrat.

If rectititude is determined by a mere majority, then we should probably give up the fights on abortion and school prayer, among other things. I'll follow my own moral compass.

In any case, WHERE did you see Biden saying anything about his words being taken out of context? I was serious when I asked for citations. I've looked and found none, other than the instance I already gave.

Rush Limbaugh’s program notes of yesterday point to Biden’s comments as self-serving and hypocritical....

Again, I say -- so what?
Have I ever praised Biden for the internal consistency of his thought? Have I ever held him up as a paragon of righteousness? Have I bemoaned the slanders of him cast from all sides on all things?
No.
And no again.

I have merely pointed out that he does not think that the US is a "high-tech bully." Rather, he thinks that others think that. That you repeatedly fail to grasp this, even when confronted with raw text, indicates a propensity toward some internal "parsing" of your own.

With that in mind, I have greater trust and belief in those on the “right” who, by now, would have been ripped to shreds by the leftist media for uttering anything false than believing anything Biden has to say.

Oh, I get it now. Your proof of Biden's malfeasance is based upon his lack of defenders in the leftist media. Because they're all part of the same group, you know. They look out for their own. They closely coordinate their efforts, and operate together as a well-oiled machine! Forget the vast right-wing conspiracy -- it's the vast left-wing conspiracy we need to worry about.

Your logic doesn't hold. You say that Biden is guilty, because the media would defend the innocent. But what about when Clinton was guilty, and the media defended the guilty? Or when Reagan was innocent, and the media attacked the innocent? There's no consistent pattern there for you to latch on to. All told, it's a shaky reason for vilifying Biden.

Look -- there are plenty of reasons to dislike this guy. Why you feel the need to make one up is beyond me.
