Frankly, I need to get a police scanner as well. I go to high school and I have been in lockdown 2 times since the start of school because of people calling in probably fake threats...if I had a scanner w/me, I would at least know what is going on.

Not as many as there used to be, especially in Century Village. Many are dying off due to old age. I remember as a kid all the European death camp survivors living in Palm Beach County. We used to go to this Jewish Deli near Century Village off of (I think) Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. or Okochobee Blvd. and hear all the stories of the Nazi camps. Amazingly, I saw the theatrical release of Das Boot in the Century Cinema.
