Ugh! You have my sympathies. I hope it’s not that windy for as long as we dealt with wind this week. NO FUN. Glad yours died down tonight.

There was more than enough breeze to make it uncomfortable outside today. A little sunshine would have helped but we didn’t get that until very late. Now we need the clouds but since we don’t have them, we’re under a frost advisory in the early morning hours. Drat!

Not quite mid-April yet. Give it another week. :-)

Trust me, I am much more relaxed since the wind settled down. I had to keep the doors closed, even though it was a beautiful day...other than the wind....because not only does it make me on edge, but there would be a deep layer of dust on everything. LOL!

Oh, yeah, this is just the 5th. I’m rushing things. :D Yes, you need that warming blanket of clouds to hold back the freeze. I just hope it doesn’t ruin your beautiful red dogwood blossoms, though.

Hey there, Kathy.

We escaped frost last night, thanks to clouds holding the temp in the low 40s. We’re under a frost advisory tonight due to the clouds moving out. Oh well. At least it’s only one night.

Last time I checked the Lake Hood cam, it was still spitting a little snow at the airports but I couldn’t see the mountains. I figured you were still getting a decent dose.
But a lot of snow had melted on the parking lots and streets and it looked sloppy. Downtown streets were just wet. If it drops below freezing tonight, there’s going to be a lot of black ice. Be careful if you head out early tomorrow morning.

Yep, though I’ve been sick of looking at gray skies all week, the cloud cover at night has been a plus. After all that time, the clouds could have stuck around a few more hours. *sigh*
