Place sounds like a sh*thole.
Some people like to work out with friends or acquaintances. Some people don't have room at home for hard-core weightlifting gear. Some people like the culture. Some people just want a change of scenery.
You may not want or like those things ... but you aren't all people. Gyms exist for a reason. It's (still) a (more or less) free country ...

I’ve done headcounts at Planet Fitness to demonstrate to my daughter that they are a particularly female friendly gym. It works out to about 45% women, a huge market they clearly market to.
So tranny in the ladies room is kinda opposite of clear corporate intention to be female friendly.
A lot would depend on just what he was shaving???

If you make too much noise while working out, usually a grunt or dropping weights, they ring the lunk alarm, which is like an air raid siren, singling that person out so they stop making noise. It’s ridiculous.

Besides-doesn’t everyone work out to music? I have my own weights-so work out at home-to rock music I crank up loud. We have a gym out here, too-a private owner one-they play loud music, too-if someone doesn’t like it, they go to a gym in the city 45 miles away. Planet Fitness sounds like it sucks-glad their stock is tanking...
