used to be that the bad guys were the “gunner downers” and the good guys were the “subdoers” or whatever.

Why didn’t they simply shoot the nail puller out of his hand. Or at least knee shoot him. That’s what Joe would recommend for someone unarmed with a nail puller.

36 rounds. When at that range, with an AR-15 all they needed was one round.
Must be training and IQ issues.

out of the 36 rounds I think they hit the target about 35 times. What a waste!

They got in some ‘range time’ with 35 of 36 on target...

If AR’s are so dangerous, why so many rounds?

OK ... First, congratulations to the cops cranking off 36 rounds and NOT hitting a hostage.
Second, hypothetical: Suppose “Senor Jose Pendejo” breaks into my house, and the wife and I crank off 36 rounds, hitting him with 35 and causing no injury to innocents. Would we be suspected of using excessive force?

She sure did...and she didn’t hesitate for one second going through the door...or dropping him.
And put that in comparison to all those spinless clowns in Uvalde who couldn’t bring themselves to go into harm’s way without apparently a legion of backup, as a shooter is executing children 50 yards from them inside a building.
