It’s him Rocco. The age, writing style and condescending attitude lead right to Chad.

Knows it all, snotty, illogical, loves foreign countries and foreigners, hates America and Americans...your typical zeeper.

Of course it’s you. Don’t deny it.

Be proud Chad! Wear your elitism as a badge of honor!

Can’t refute anything Birrell wrote, so make it about me. OK, I’ve got broad shoulders. And I’m not depressed.

Putin opened the US borders to foreign invaders.

Putin infiltrated all US institutions and filled them with perverts and anti-white racists.

Putin turned US cities into toxic waste dumps.

Putin created thousands of regulations damaging and/or destroying US businesses.

Lol.

Did Vladimir Putin lock you down?
Did Vladimir Putin declare some jobs to be nonessential?

Did Vladimir Putin try to get you fired from your job for not taking an experimental drug?

I know who my enemy is. It's not Vladimir Putin.

Thanks for the ping Rocco. Poor widdle Chad ain’t got no friends. I wonder why. I’ve always said, a person needs to like themselves first, before expecting someone else to like them. And since he claims he’s felt more at home in Europe and with Europeans, I don’t understand why he hasn’t moved there instead of being stuck in God-awful America. I’m just saying, he can still be a pest on FR is he’s posting from Ukraine.

“You can avoid reality geopolitics, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality geopolitics." with apologies to Ayn Rand

Or to put it another way: You may not be interested in geopolitics, but geopolitics is interested in you.

So go on your merry way, composing cute posts about America's domestic problems, (which you probably aren't doing anything about). Somebody else will pick up the slack. Or not.

Same snarky and condescending attitude. Same writing style and colloquialisms. Same loathing for Americans and love for foreigners. Same presumptuousness and the age fits.

Yes, Chaddie! This IS your blog!

You are missing my point.

The Putin you hate and fear so much does none of the bad things I cited.

That raises the issue of why you hate and fear him so much—when you enemies are right here in your face.

It is like raving about Putin while a gang of thugs breaks into your house and starts raping your wife.

No, far worse. He has had his main opposition figures openly murdered over the last decade. (Think Obama having Trump assassinated.) He strongly believes in the Russkiy Mir of philosopher Aleksandr Dugin, who has written:

In principle, Eurasia and our space, the heartland Russia, remain the staging area of a new anti-bourgeois, anti-American revolution ... The new Eurasian empire will be constructed on the fundamental principle of the common enemy: the rejection of Atlanticism, strategic control of the USA, and the refusal to allow liberal values to dominate us. This common civilizational impulse will be the basis of a political and strategic union.

The "history lesson" Putin gave to that fool Carlson exactly coincides with Dugin's vision. Ukraine is just a first step. His "new Eurasian empire" requires direct Russian control of all of Europe** and the Middle East. Europe understands this, at least partially. This is why the Poles are arming up as fast as they can. Why Finland and Sweden just joined NATO after all these years.

A book worth your time is James D. Heiser's "The American Empire Should Be Destroyed. It will open your eyes to what we will be facing if Putin and his successors are not contained.

**This is nothing new. Just after the Tehran Conference 1943 Stalin said to a reporter: "It's high time Russia was in charge of Europe". He meant it literally. Russians aren't Mongols, but they learned to think like Mongols 600 years ago, and the paradigm has never been moderated. There has never been a liberal democratic culture in Russia. Bolshevism was just another facet of the same old playbook.

Ignore this at your peril. We ignored Hitler's early expansionism, and look what happened.

America can fix its' problems. We still have a robust opposition party and our election apparatus is not totally broken. I'm helping to fix it. Are you?

Cut me a break.

U.S. foreign policy is to make the world safe for perverts.

I have zero interest in that.

I could not care less about Putin.

If he invades Alaska I will pay attention to you—other than that you are just spewing Deep State propaganda.

Yes, I agree. The writing styles match well. There's an all around haughtiness in this person's writing that jumps out at someone stylistically analyzing it.

On top of that, "Chad C. Mulligan" is the name of one character among ~20 in an arcane scifi novel, "Stand On Zanzibar," published in 1968. Realistically, how many different folks chose a name as their internet "handle" from a grab bag of 20 names in an arcane scifi novel that barely exists in the conscious, American cultural lexicon?
