I worked with a Vietnamese guy. The smell in the break room was awful after he ate lunch.
Garlic and ginger cooking smells heavenly.
Now that the restaurant is gone they can enjoy the aroma of the sidewalk loaves.
Has anyone fully realized how much this city has taken an absolute feces? This city was a crown jewel of good, lighthearted liberalism. Then it turned into out-and-out communism.

I worked with a bunch of Filipinos in L.A. back in the 80s on Wilshire Blvd and at lunch they stunk up the break room every day with their fish and whatever else they eat. Stunk up the whole room.....

Nothing worse than a vegan bitching about the smell of fish sauce. It does have a strong smell, but a little bit makes everything taste better.
A colleague had to travel to Vietnam for work. In the cafeteria, he was served duck. A whole duck with the head and feet and guts. They just plucked it and cooked it.
Yuck!
Working at a diverse company for a long time, yes the worst was opening up a microwave after someone just cooked some fish head soup...

My beautiful young bride uses fish sauce on most anything that is not even fish. I dropped a bottle she had on a shelf that I wasn’t aware she slipped in the there. It broke on contact with the concrete basement floor.
No need to describe the aroma of decayed lying in the sun fish on a basement floor in January. Bleach and much detergent and ruined jeans later and explaining put that shi* somewhere else should alleviate future incidents.

So, do all the ‘unhoused’ always smell good?
It’s the fish sauce and garlic. Very good when food hot and fresh. After about 4 hours left in room temp. Not so good.
