There is some rain in the forecast for today. We'll see how things go at Chisolm Trail Park later today.
It’s still raining! Yay! I figured it had moved on, so I didn’t look out to check on it. It sure wasn’t in the forecast, and I PRAY that it kills that horrible wildfire!
Oh, I didn’t realize you were going in on Saturday. Does this mean it’s time to open up again? Or just a work day? I, of course, have forgotten when you told me y’all would open back up for tours.
Gizmo likes that chilly weather. Makes him frisky. LOL
It sounds like we’re all going to get some rain in the south the next 24 hours. I hope you get a good amount because you need it. You haven’t had a lot for a while. I hope you can beat it and have fun at Chisolm Trail Park before it gets there.
I’ve been keeping tabs on your rain as best I can (Comcast is acting up bad tonight) and it looks like you got a decent amount. Might even get a little more.
It’s hard to tell if it’ll go far enough north to hit the panhandle where they sure could use it.
I told you last night about Saturday. I guess you missed it. I got a call yesterday from Da Boss telling me everyone’s going to head up for a work day. The whole museum is going to be rearranged and there’ll be a LOT more workdays ahead. We’re supposed to reopen the middle of April and I hope we can get the job done by then. It’s going to be a LOT of work moving all that stuff around.
Well, the rain has moved out of our town. It’s 35, so probably a good thing or we’d have gotten that sleet/snow stuff that was predicted for you. As a matter of fact, I have a friend who lives about 10 miles NE of here and she said she DID have some sleet. That we can do without!
I think you’re happy about work. You’ll enjoy taking part with making the museum even more attractive and interesting for people who visit.
I guess I’ll finish this show and go on to sleep. No nap today, so my eyelids are drooping. See ya tomorrow!
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...no sun, but Gizmo sure had lots of things to do at Wichita Ridge yesterday. Happy dog!
You guys have a great Thursday.
Hurrah...you are gettting rain, too.
I hope you are safe from all the wildfires.
Enjoy Chisolm Trail Park.
And hurrah for you and your continuing rain. I hope it continues all night and you end up with a good soaking.
OOPS...I didn’t read far enough. Hope the rain you DID get helps some.
You still might get some sleet or snow, though it won’t cause any problems. Your ground is warmer than here so it’ll melt. The good thing is it’s more “wet” for your lawn.
I’m VERY happy to get back up to the museum, even if it’s going to be butt-busting work. I miss the place while we’re closed and I miss all the other volunteers. It’ll be nice to see everyone again.
Enjoy the rest of your show and sleep well. Catch ya tomorrow.
Is the wind still crazy at your house? It sure is at the airports. I can see snow being blown across the lake and it’s moving fast. Looks wild.
In the Low Twenties today.
Mother Nature is having her mood sweings again.
We got 3/8” of rain. Not as much as I thought, but I’ll take it!!
3/8 of an inch is better than no rain at all. Glad to hear you got that much.
Me too! I always want more. LOL!
