Here, that would never make the local news, much less be broadcast globally. In Japan, this simple vandalism promted this man’s arrest.
Japan does not allow any books in Arabic, Urdu or Pashtu to be published or distributed within Japan.
I would not want to be Mr. Mellow Yellow as he’s interrogated by the Japanese police on this matter. I expect that he may choose to self-deport in very short order.
