Maybe. I believe the doctor is a Major and another article mentions his victims as enlisted. The Army is kind of touchy about enlisted striking officers and they know it.
A druggie once threatened to accuse me of sexual assault during a pap smear if I didn’t give her narcotics. Luckily nearby staff heard the threat so I was not in trouble.
So was this guy assaulting patients or is it a fake scam.
Back in the 60’s Fort Lewis was an Army base and Madigan was an Air Force base both were south of Tacoma...

I spent along time in the Army.
Every single sexual assault that ever happened in any of the units I was in....was a man assaulting another man.
Alot of times it was when a guy was passed out drunk..., other time a guy forced another guy to do “Stuff” at gunpoint, the worst instance, the guy was drugged, and raped so brutally, he spent a few days int he hospital.
In the last instance..the guy who did it went to Leavenworth for 20 years.
Apparently JBLM is Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base. But everything is “joint” now. So you can have an Air Force officer running the Army base, or an Army officer running and Air Force base.
My bad Madigan was the name of the Medical Center at Fort Lewis..and McChord was the Air Force Base...used to do TDY and would stay at the BOQ at Fort Lewis..memory not what it used to be..

It is that "Joint Base" foolishness that started with the The Defense Base Realignment and Closure Act of 1990.

The Army has stayed quiet for months as attorneys for the alleged victims . . .
But, the alleged victim’s attorney . . .

I also understand that anonymous help can be hired for reasonable rates and the Tacoma/Seattle area would likely harbor an excess of willing “tune up” specialists.
I am glad to hear that enlisted men NEVER assault officers.
