You are right about that. I remember when press was curious about candidates in both parties.
Constitution allows each state to run presidential elections. Until that is amended, fraud will flourish.
Trump was 100-1 in Aug 2016.
I think everyone knows, but after Biden accepts the nomination, his odds will be right there with Trump’s. Trump’s best path is 2020+GA+AZ+MI, but I’d hate to rely on any of PA, WI or MI to win. Between senators and governors, R’s hold only one seat between those 3 states. Biden looks like a bargain bet right now.
Phillips is a Minnesota Congressman. A “moderate” Democrat, Ivy League educated. He is cousin to Powerlineblog.com ‘s Scott Johnson. He apparently thinks that Biden is a venal hack (wow! such courage) but “believes” in the ideals of the Democrat Party. His run is apparently more Quixotic patriotism (if misplaced) than raw ambition, like Newsome.
