Not funny and not impressed. Ash Wednesday is holy and sanctified for many Catholics. Don’t do that to Islam either although many of us deem it a fake religion. Making a public mockery of any religion (except blatantly evil ones) is just disrespectful and low class character.

Most of the departments at any University could be abolished without any significant negative consequence for Western society. Keep the engineering programs, hard sciences, and a few of the softer sciences, but the rest could be significantly scaled back. Oh and one last important thing: Can the “affiliation” of Universities with religious denominations end? It’s been clear for quite awhile that they could care less for the heritage of their respective denominations.
