Melt down city
So, basically, it’s my staff’s fault. That and a bunch of Bidenesque lies, in that the SP did say he willfully retained documents he shouldn’t have, despite Biden saying the SP did not say that. It’s right on the front page of the SP’s report.
The key point of this is Biden claiming he was interviewed for 5 hours during the breakout of the Hamas-Israel war. This is possibly true. There would be numerous witnesses to this interview, so it may actually be true. If true, it means the people running this country wanted this drooling fool as far away as possible during an actual crisis. Otherwise, a competent man would have said to the SP, ‘hey, sorry, we’ve got a crisis here, let’s reschedule.’ And of course any prosecutor would have done that.
Instead, President Ice Cream allows himself to be placed in a room where he lies, mis-remembers, and tells stories that don’t go anywhere, while outside, the real work is being done by staffers.
I thought Biden would never drop out, but if he were going to stay in the race, he’d lay low and let this blow over, and not immediately go on television. There’s nothing he could do on TV that would make this better. I still think he’ll want to serve out the four year term, though.
