"...I, you know, I agree new deal; I think the Green Deal is, all that stuff is important, it’s good. We ought to be something, but my approach is more market-based than kind of top-down dictates, you know? I believe that we should use market mechanisms like carbon taxes and, you know, and the elimination of subsidies, and I think that those things outward transition our economy...”
These are his exact words, not taken out of context, or chopped up. The link to it is: LINK: RFK Jr. Talks about Green New Deal
Nothing personal, but I have seen plenty of video, in context, of his own words coming out of his own mouth.
Support for someone who says these things indicates one of two things: someone who does not hold conservative values, or someone who fails to view the issues through a valid, conservative prism.
I agree that simply going off of negatively slanted MSM coverage alone would indeed be a lack of critical thinking. I could provide more, but you get the idea.
Except Kennedy has never claimed to be a dyed in the wool conservative and neither is Trump for that matter so I don’t see what that has to do with the mentality of his supporters.
Whether Trump self-identifies as a conservative or not, makes ZERO difference to me.
His actions are conservative.
Are ALL of his actions conservative? Absolutely not. But the same can be said of ANY modern President. Look at Reagan with the Immigration Bill he signed back in the Eighties. And so on. So I don't agree with Trump on a variety of issues such as some social issues where he plays the politician with the homosexual community, and I don't agree with his actions on debt reduction, which were limited to creating a rising tide in the economy that floated all boats.
But Trump did things that count as conservative, so that is how I grade HIM. I grade him on THESE things.
These are examples just off the top of my head, but THESE are CONSERVATIVE things.
People can call Trump whatever they want to. But THOSE are CONSERVATIVE principles, carried out in action.
I constantly hear people say he is a liberal and always has been, not a conservative, blah blah blah.
Well, you go back to the interviews he did in 1987 with Larry King LINK: 1987 Interview with Larry King and you tell me how much difference there is between the things conservatives admire about him and his attitudes on America's place in the world today, and tell me how materially different from this 1987 interview he is, and that his world view from 1987
RFK Jr not only does NOT even "talk the talk", his rhetoric, which he does not disavow, is the rhetoric of Biden and his Cabinet (apart from COVID and Vaccines) and the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. And that is ALL he has, is rhetoric.
In these next four years, I am not willing to vote for someone who is a Trump-heartbeat away from the Presidency, no matter how 4-D Chess people think it is, who mouths the things (and that is ALL he has, is "mouths") that mirror what comes from the mouths of people I regard as enemies of this Republic.
You are going to have to give me specific examples of how he is similar to Biden on everything (not cherry picked) but Covid because I am simply not seeing it.
Okay. Green New Deal and Climate Change. Freedom of Speech. There are two specific examples.
He believes in the climate hoax, and those who disagree should be treated as criminals. This is not ME.
If you need to be spoon-fed links, sorry, I cannot do that. I don’t have the time, and don’t wish to do that with someone who may already have his mind made up. I provided you with his views on the climate hoax and the Green New Deal. If you have the courage to find the interviews out there where he says things that are at odds with any conservative thought, you may learn something, even if it is contrary to some views you may hold on the person uttering them.
He is all over the place on climate change, which is a critique and policy formulation that needs to be streamlined, as well as alternative and renewables but has made clear it will not be a priority in his administration. The ‘criminals’ he was talking about were the Koch brothers and the crime was pollution. The question really is how to respond when he answers like this in a debate.

I’m going to scream if anyone posts this idiocy again.
He doesn't.
Trump reTruthed the following yesterday or the day before:

I predict it won’t be liberalism that will do Kennedy in but his campaign’s unconditional support of Israel. Is it just bought and paid for (useful idiot for the Zionist lobby) or blackmail ? Hopefully not an Epstein/Mossad connection.
WTF?
What what ? You didn’t know ? He is totally off the rails on this one. There has got to be something else going on.
WHO is totally off the rails with WHAT, and why are you telling me about it?
RFK Jr with the Palestinian issue. I didn’t mean to start anything but it seemed a good antidote to the raging liberal perception.
It’s not just a perception. It’s reality.
And antidotes are only needed for poison.
