LOL, first thing I did was drop the playback speed down to .75, and it was too slow. I ended up trying .90, then just put it on normal playback...

I have begun dictating audiobooks for free on a volunteer site, and it is an interesting challenge.
But I am watching and listening to this guy, and thinking at any second, he is going to have a long pause between two words to inhale deeply! I was getting short of breath just watching him.
But his diction is pretty good and straightforward.

My understanding is that the Supreme Court ruled that the US government has ultimate control over the border.
But in realty the feds are not controlling the border and are allowing an invasion. The Constitution allows for states to defend themselves from invasion if the fedgov does not do their job.
The USSC did not rule on that issue.

Many, especially young people, are not aware of the “incredible power” held by governors, Hibbs explained.
“The governor is like the president of a country,” he described. “The United States Air Force is made up of Air Forces from 50 different states. The United States Army is made up of soldiers or army personnel from each of the 50 states. Every state has a National Guard. So, for example, Gavin Newsom, as Governor of California, is the Commander in Chief of the California National Guard.”
“Our states are sovereign. The states agree to have the federal government rule over them. A governor can tell the federal government that they’re not going to do this or they’re not going to do that,” he explained. “A governor has incredible power.”
“We’re in a situation because Texas, the people of Texas, decided to shut the border down. Joe Biden deployed federal forces to literally cut the brand new fencing and barbed wire so that the invasion could continue,” Hibbs stressed. “You don’t want to pick a fight with Texas—and I’m not saying that as a joke. Their patriotism for their ‘country of Texas’ is not to be played with.”
“Texas’ constitutional authority, by the way, trump’s the federal constitution,” the pastor noted, highlighting that Texas has already left the United States twice, and the events unfolding could lead to a third departure.

Rank-and file BP agents are not going to start arresting TX NG members for following their LAWFUL orders. That’s fake news.
TX NG and rank-and-file BP agents work together and respect each other’s jobs. Period. If TX NG members have LAWFUL orders, then they have to carry out those orders.
TX NG members realize that rank-and-file BP agents have their orders as well. Lawful orders, no matter how unpopular or distasteful amongst rank-and-file agents, must be followed. Unlawful orders (as determined by competent legal counsel and not what some outhouse lawyer behind a keyboard says) will not be followed.
Rank-and-file BP agents appreciate and respect what TX has been doing to defend their state in the midst of this catastrophe that the Biden Admin has unleashed on America.
We want to be perfectly clear, there is no fight between rank-and-file BP agents and the TX NG, Gov. Abott, or TX DPS. It may make flashy headlines, but it simply isn’t true.

BUt remember the cartels are the factor, they are really in charge if the brder, no one else is.
They could do something that would allow Biuden to send in the US Marines.Then the flow of illehgals would be ordered to continue.
THe cartels maybe need to be attacked by the TNG using drones and missiles into their encampments IF they become a problem. The cartels are the wild card in all of this.
I would venture that is a bit too cynical for most people. I don’t agree with it, but that is your opinion.
I do understand the sentiment. I just don’t think we were founded that way. But I keep open the possibility, I don’t like to believe, that we are simply an oligarchy now.
