Which is why I thought you might like to see that.
Why do you support the Libertarian position?
A blurb (below the video) on Newsmax TV today said some intelligence analsysts think North Korea is preparing to open a new war against the South.
I’m a small “l” libertarian. I just want to be left alone.
Being invaded doesn’t leave me alone, now does it?
You were a dedicated member of the Libertarian Party and must have supported their positions.
The key words in your post are “were” and “have”.
I’ve learned a lot on FR since I started writing my home page.
Well, you used to support their position and probably still do to some degree since you still identify yourself with them and as a Libertarian.
How much do you disagree with their position and when did we get you educated enough to start withdrawing from them to a degree?
I still support and follow the pledge: "I oppose the initiation of force to achieve political or social goals."
Note that I didn't pledge to not respond to and end force, but only to not start.
The home page libertarian declaration was in mid 2001, a lot has changed in the 22½ years since then, it would be very difficult to pinpoint an exact time when any particular facet changed.
Would you be more comfortable if I erased all my history á la the old Soviet Union making the commissar disappear, or pull it down like a Civil War statue?
Would it be better to remember history, even if it has errors corrected and challenges overcome, to light the progress made and guide future direction, or do you favor not learning from history, no matter how may times it repeats?
I’m merely learning about your views on immigration you haven’t described how much you disagree with your (past? current?sometimes?) party’s position or what part of it you disagree with.
See post #64.
That didn’t explain anything, you used to support their immigration policy and were a passionate member now you say you are less enthusiastic about their immigration policy but won’t share why other than to imply that currently there are too many accepting your Libertarian immigration policy.
It seems that you have some Libertarian views on immigration that you still want to keep hidden.
It seems you have some reading comprehension issues.
No, you haven’t supplied the reading material, why are you unwilling to describe what you now disagree with in the party position that you say you are no longer fully behind?
Do you even know what your party’s position is and always has been on immigration?
Wide open boarders.
Once again you have a comprehension issue.
It's NOT my party.
I guess that is the most you will admit to, you no longer support wide-open borders.
Other than that, who knows how you feel about the issue of immigration.
