This thread is not about immigration, it is about a new possible threat from North Korea and WWIII.
My position on immigration is the same as it was when I first recall taking a stand on it in 1965 and perhaps a little earlier and taking a financial stand on the illegal version in 1967 before I would accept a work crew, my acceptance was based on my demand that I could fire them and hire Americans those were a Texas teenager making those stands on immigration both legal and illegal.
One correction, in 1965 I was arguing that it was wrong to abandon the previous small amount of European immigration for JFK’s replacement law, some years ago I switched to ending all immigration period.

For which we will be fighting their forward based foot soldiers on our own soil thanks to an open border.
Something that changed from accepting pre-JFK immigration of relatively small numbers of quality Europeans to being against all immigration no matter where they come from is that our population changed in size.
We were full enough around 1970 and these last 100 million people have been a disaster and there is no end in sight, even many on this forum still accept and frequently even desire legal immigration.
We need to seal America from immigration of any and all kinds.
