LOL. This is better than an endorsement of Trump. The dope just undercut his endorsement of Biden right after he gave it.

Democrats don’t really need the unions anymore.

Why?

They certainly need the teacher’s & government unions! These unions are cash cows for Rats. Industrial unions only have niche existence in certain parts of the country now. There they are a political force.

It’s typical behavior for Union officials to endorse Democrat politicians against the wishes of the majority of their dues-paying members. He just confirmed that. As long as he gets his salary, benefits, travel and other expenditures paid by union members, that’s his only concern.

The union vote. Once as in 1960 for JFK vs. Nixon it meant a lot.

In the 1960s, the percentage of workers who were members of unions was falling from the peak achieved in the 1940s and 1950s. While 31.5% of workers were union members in 1950 and 33.2% were in unions in 1955, that percentage fell to 31.4% in 1960, 28.4% in 1965 and 27.3% in 1970.
From history central site.

Reuters article:
U.S. union membership rates fell to fresh record lows in 2023 despite it being a year of headline-grabbing organized labor strikes.
The union membership rate fell to 10.0% from what had already been a record-low 10.1% in 2022, the Labor Department said on Tuesday. Records showed continued growth in union membership among people of color and a narrowing pay advantage for union workers.

But the trick is he said they will vote for the wonderful harvest of money brought to them./S

Which was eroded by inflation and taxes to pay.

Sounds eerily familiar. Almost like that’s how all politics in the US works.
