I’ll predict a small victory margin, which will be touted as Trump defeat, despite all the NH shenaigans.

Last week at The Homestead (along with most of Montana and our neighboring states) was -30, then we got just warm enough for some snow and today's forecast high is supposed to be 45.

I got stuff out right now. Fava beans (which can survive), lettuce, spinach, cabbage, garlic and onions. I covered the lettuce, spinach and cabbage but the lettuce is frozen solid and I assume dead.
I have a bunch more lettuce in the greenhouse which only got down to 28.
I have potatoes underground and covered with massive amount of chopped up leaves. We’ll see!
Because it was El Nino in Alabama this year, it was expected to be cooler but a lot wetter, so I planted a big winter garden. It’s been a lot drier and MUCH colder so far...

Come to think of it, that time period corresponds to the slowdown in political hot air in Iowa as the caucus date approached. I wonder if that is a coincidence.
And now Ron DeSantis is either dropping out slowly, or imitating Joe Biden's campaign schedule. Either way, he can go back to Florida and keep being a great governor.
In the meantime, I am looking forward to Greg Abbott doing more to alleviate the illegal crisis in his state. He could be my candidate for 2028.

I get a daily jigsaw puzzle on my Android phone that I play - I’m too cheap to pay for it, so I get ‘ads’. The last couple of days, the ads have been for Nikki Haley, which tells me there is a tremendous push to try to get her some traction.
Trump is way ahead of her in SC ... if he can eke out a win in NH, despite the DemonRat shenanigans, he’ll take out the trash & she should be joining Ron & the rest of the clown show (Crispy, Hutchinson, Pence et al) in the anti-Trump dumpster.
