In NH, you need to reach independents and motivate them to “get involved.”
That’s why they need to go on those shows.
I have written part of a withdrawal speech for DeSantis—that can turn him from a laughing-stock to the potential to be a historic figure for the future of American political life:
“This chapter of my life has come to an end. I am ending this campaign and beginning another one.
I want to talk about the next chapter of my life. As governor of Florida I am going to stand up for the political prisoners rotting in Federal prison due to the insane and vicious persecution by Democratic Federal prosecutors and judges and juries.
I am going to name the Florida citizens who are the January 6 political prisoners. I am going to take up their cause and I am going to ask the Florida legislature to join me in this fight. As a state we are going to work with attorneys to file appeals for each and every Florida resident affected by this grotesque injustice. In addition we will launch a public relations effort to publicize each individual case so that everyone in America and around the world understands their plight.
This injustice will not stand—I will make their cause my cause—and we will prevail because we believe in justice in America.....”
The door is still open for Ron.
Can he reach deep within himself to muster the courage to go through it?

Or it could just be he’s trying a fresh new strategy, to focus more on the individual voters in the actual states, verses a nationwide message. There’s only so much time in a day.

Yeah right. Most of the J6’s pleaded guilty in court, after the prosecutors showed them video of them smashing through doors and windows, or assaulting police, before it even went to an actual trial. That’s the main reason Trump never came to their defense either.

Most of the J6 prosecutions were egregious cases of prosecutorial overreach, where defendants who did nothing worse than the kind of thing that has happened repeatedly in the chambers of Congress over the years pleaded guilty to silly charges like trespassing just because they didn’t want to risk long sentences for ridiculous charges for violent crimes.

Thanks—I really hope DeSantis can turn his life around and become the hero we all need.
I may sound like a gloom and doomer from time to time, but each individual does have chances in life to turn lemons into lemonade—usually when they hit bottom.
