“How times change. Back in 1976, it was openly stated without question that Reagan was drawing non-Republican crossover votes in the southern primaries. Back then, a lot of conservative Democrats had not yet moved over, as in some ways the Republican Party was the party of Nelson Rockefeller and his ilk.”

It was the same in 2016 in NH and here in MA. Droves of Democrats switched registrations so they could help Trump in the primary. And remember Rush’s “operation chaos” in 2008, where Republicans switched to help Hillary and stretch out the Dem nomination process.

But in the eyes of a young reporter, these things just don’t happen! Why, that’s misinformation and unfounded claims!

Can I vote in a primary if I am an undeclared voter?

Yes. An undeclared voter may vote in a state primary or a presidential primary. You will be required to choose either a Democratic or Republican ballot when you go to vote. The last day a registered voter can change their party affiliation before the 2024 Presidential Primary is October 6, 2023. The last day a registered voter can change their party affiliation before the 2024 State Primary is June 4, 2024. Supervisors are required to meet on that day at least between 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. to accept party changes.

The days of CBS as the arbiter of truth are long gone …. If they ever existed at all.

They never existed. Big Media have been pathological liars for longer than you have been alive.

Being undeclared in New Hampshire is always the wisest.

If CBS takes the trouble to call it misinformation, then it must be true, but we can thank CBS for calling it to our attention.

Yes, this is why McCain won the NH primary.

This has been going on in NH for a long time. I do not recall IF the NH primary has always been a SEMI OPEN Primary.
I state SEMI OPEN because the way the law is stated someone who is registered prior to the primary as a Republican or Democrat CAN NOT change party affiliation on Primary Day. However, people that are registered as INDEPENDENT or Unaffiliated can request EITHER a Dem or Rep ballot. Then after voting you may change your party back to Independent/Undeclared.

This has led to a lot of Dems registering as Independents so that they can switch back and forth.

Joe Biden is NOT on the Democrat ballot. So, there is a fairly strong WRITE IN campaign going on in NH right now.
Most likely this will only happen with the really truly devoted wacko liberals. I mean what reasonable person would vote for Biden now?

However, IF you watched Tuckers recent podcast about Haley/Sununu he perceives that the Deep State are actually pouring huge amounts of money into the Haley campaign with Sununu being her VP pick. Tuckers calls these two NEOLIBERALS. He really should have added RINO to that acronym because they are both NeoCons who are not conservative in any aspect. They are liberals who pose as Republicans in name only.

Tucker thinks this is the plan. Get Nicky in with Sununu as VP and they will do the bidding of the globalists. Plus the bonus of this plan is that it takes care of the Biden and Kamala problems. They get another stooge who is already bought. Stupid women(and men) will vote for her because she is perceived moderate. I have personally witnessed this in my office in NH. Straight commission traders who have TDS are supporting Nicky. These are men that call themselves Republicans, but they really don not pay attention to politics and are easily misled. Mostly because they are misinformed.

No, they can not cross party lines. The NH law states that Undeclared/Independents can vote in either Dem or Rep primary. Then they can change back to Undeclared after voting.

A registered Democrat can NOT vote in the NH Republican primary.

A registered Republican can NOT vote in the NH Democrat primary.

That is the law in the State of NH.

“We’re not allowed to say it out loud I guess. “

Once the media calls it lies, that means that they’re COVERING UP cheating. Otherwise they’d refer to it as ‘unsubstantiated claims’, or something like that.

Misinformation?

That’s the entire point of open primaries

Everyone knows that this happens it’s not misinformation

Here in MA years ago there was some election where Democrats openly encouraged Republicans to switch parties. Can’t remember the election or the issue at stake, too long ago.

But anyway, when I went to vote, the person at the table gave me my Republican ballot and then pointed to a form further down the table and said “you can fill out that form to change your registration back” and I looked right at her and said “I’m an ACTUAL Republican”

She didn’t like that too much, and in reality, she was just doing her job, but my point is that this type of thing goes on to affect elections, and to think it doesn’t is extremely naive.

Yep. And NH’s loosey goosey primary system makes it not only probable, but inevitable that this will happen. All someone has to do is declare themself and “independent” and ask for a Republican primary ballot. Easy peasy.

Open primaries are how RINOs stay in power.

But lately even that hasn't been enough, since MAGA is gaining momentum and numbers.

This is why we're seeing the push toward Ranked Choice Voting. That's the only way that Murky hag in Alaska retained her Senate seat.

I wonder IF i would get as many spam calls, junk mail, spam text messages, etc IF I was an Independent?

I am registered as a Republican. So is my wife. On Tuesday we received TEN glossy cardboard 6” x 12” Nicky flyers in our mailbox. Weds and Thursday another five.

“Trump pushes misinformation“

I have noticed the “news” outlets are getting more and more brazen in their role as advocates for the rats as Trump becomes the inevitable candidate. It’s going to get worse.

Trump needs to revoke their broadcast licenses and make
necessary arrests of communists in our institutions.

Yep close that freedom gap in any method that can be used.
Like it or not things get more difficult as life progresses.
