I doubt that you meant Finland. So I guess you meant Russia.
However, are you guessing, or is Russia who he really meant?
My guess would have been a civil war with their migrants.
“NATO friction” didn’t cause the Ukraine war
that was solely Putin’s choice to illegally invade a sovereign country
and now Russia is talking about invading ALL of Europe ... that’s why Sweden (and others) are sensibly preparing, just in case
Right after you pull out a dictionary.
“NATO friction” didn’t cause the Ukraine war

Come off it.
Think back to the days of Quebec Separation in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Given the backgrounds and motivations of many of the Separatists, there was a strong likelihood that an Independent Quebec would have been at least another Nicaragua, if not another Cuba.
You really think the USA would have stood by while Quebec turned into a Cuba on its Northern border ?
I’m sure in that instance the USA would have never “illegally invaded a sovereign country”. / sarc
Don’t give us your hypothetical BS
There is no “Independent Quebec”
Putin illegally invaded a sovereign country - admit it
Putin invaded a Globohomo puppet Regime which launched a military attack against its own population in a breakaway province.
So you admit Putin illegally invaded a sovereign country
The “legality” is irrelevant.
By that standard the USA “illegally” invaded Afghanistan, Iraq and “illegally” severed a province from Serbia.
Countries that join a hostile military alliance while living next to a great power can expect what happened to Ukraine, or what would have happened to a Communist Aligned Quebec.
Always there to slander America and make excuses for Russia, aren’t you
Yes it was Putin’s choice to invade. That doesn’t prove Russia was at faultnor that it wasn’t provoked. All 3 can be logically simutaneously true. Invasion can be justifiable; the right of preemptive self-defence is incontrovertible.
Note I’m not saying here that Russia is right or wrong. I’m saying this vulgar argument of “Putin chose to invade” means nothing amd doesn’t prove who is right or wrong. America chose to invade Germany, Iraq and Panama. Israel invaded Gaza. So what? That does not prove America or Israel were wrong. The argument by itself doesn’t fly.
America may imagine itself as “exceptional” but when they do worse than Russia multiple times over, they don’t get to posture on the high horse about “invasion of sovereign countries”.
More laughable is the the posturing and outrage over “foreign interference in US elections”. Even EU countries laugh over that one.
Russia has threatened them for their effort to join NATO.
Russian’s North Sea fleet is just up the way to the east up the Gulf of Finland, near St Petersburg. Russia also wants all of the Arctic.
Thank you for the info! 😀
It’s been described as a bombshell moment. The upper echelons of Sweden’s government and defence forces last week shocked the nation by explicitly warning that war might come to Sweden, and that each and every Swede should prepare themselves. While some have taken the warning seriously and flocked to the stores to stock up on fuel and survival kits...
