Schlicter is correct that Trump should pick someone who is someway different from him. You do want to attract more votes, and that is a time-tested (if not distasteful) way to do that.
However, he is not correct about NH. She is GWB in a dress, and will seek to undercut him and leak both true and false information to do so. I anlso don’t believe that she is either a true leader, or capable of remotely coming close to filling Trump’s shoes if the DS succeeds in JFKing him. Additionally, she is of very dubious eligibility, on top of everything else. Finally, this would put her in the pole position in terms of the 2028 race, and she would be a disaster as POTUS (even assuming that she could beat Newsome (because he IS going to be their candidate in 2028).
Trump needs to pick someone principled, someone capable of not merely signing their name to whatever is put in front of them, but of leading this country back toward what it should be. That person needs to be able to take withering criticism, like Trump, and be able to dish it right back out. This person MUST have credibility overseas, particularly with rivals/enemies in China, Russia and Iran (NK is a vassal of China, so irrelevant for these purposes). Sorry, but a female will not cut it in this very nasty world. Trump needs someone who will be loyal to administration policy and to him, someone who largely shares his views on what it will take to restore our Republic.
I think that Mike Pompeo would be ideal - he’s extraordinarily smart, was one of the few in the Trump Administration who didn’t stab him in the back, was an entrepreneur (so he understands how the economy and business work, far more so than virtually any other politician), sees the danger of China, opposes the Iran nuclear deal, supported moving our embassy to Jerusalem, etc. IIW, he has the right vision and is tough (and will certainly be taken seriously overseas) and is loyal to both Trump and (more importantly) their shared vision of a restored American republic. Being from Kansas, he solidifies Republicans in the entire Midwest. He will also be a very worthy Republican candidate in 2028, and we cannot forget about that - let’s not forget how one term of Trump’s smart moves was reversed and more in a couple of months, and it’s only getting worse - we CANNOT have that happen again.
What to do about getting the squish female vote? Promise to make NH the Secretary of State - so long as she understands that she follows administration policy, she doesn’t make it. On critical trips where our enemies need to understand that we mean what we say, Pompeo can go with her. Also, promise to name another couple of prominent women to Cabinet posts (like Kristi Noem to Commerce or Agriculture, for example).
Schlichter’s brain fried when he went full DeSantis, as always happens with everyone who goes full DeSantis. Nothing Kurt has written since then has been worth a warm bucket of spit.
Yea, why bother trying to push your agenda thru the senate, right? Of course he could with her on the ticket and then remove her as VP immediately after the election is settled. Remember you vote for a President, not a VP candidate, and Trump could dump the candidate before he/she ever takes the oath of office in January!

Unfortunately I agree with Kurt. All her life Nikki Haley has coveted being elected as an HOA president, the head Karen. Trump is here and I will vote for him, although I prefer DeSantis or Ramaswamy, but Kurt is right, the weak-minded suburban sisterhood are all about grrl power and abortion. The big money is all about weak controllable candidates. Haley gets to be an HOA big hot, the people with money who are certain they are geniuses get to send money to their puppet, and the suburban sisterhood can sip their box wine with their clenched grrl power fists and smile that they will be able to keep killing their babies.

A lot of us in Trumps base will go in prepper mode an prepare for the zombie apocalypse. I have had ancestors die in every war including the Revolutionary one and I may be old but I am smart an had some excellent skill set. The one thing we have working with us this time.
